I purchased 2 of the bigger lobster tails for Valentine's day to have a special meal for my girlfriend and myself to the tune of almost 90 dollars. I was so excited to cook them and have a perfect meal tonight . I cooked them to perfection and when I took my first bite, all I tasted was a strong ammonia flavor.Then I tried the other one and the same thing. Such a disappointment as we had to throw most of it away.
They do have a good variety of "on the fly" available items. However, it is roundly known that if you shop at IFD, you pay a hefty upcharge. I can verify this, as I shop there sparingly. In fact, I think most chef's expect a reprimand if ya shop at their market store. If you plan ahead as opposed to being forced to shop here last minute, you can save a boat load, but there is something to be said about at least having this as an option. Glad they are here, but its better to plan ahead.

Love this place, they have specials at least once or some time twice a month!!!! They have excellent products and fantastic prices!!! Very knowledgeable staff, and very professional ,and friendly to!!!!! Every time they have specials I'm there!!!!!!!
Quick, easy, good selection and they will even bring it to your car for you
customer service could be improved. employees are too busy chatting with each other not the first time and today i held out my payment and the employee turned to another and ask them to finish so he could go to will-call. my expecation would be to say... i be right there to the new person and for him to complete my transaction.
Love this place and their fantastic weekly specials.
This place is amazing. It might not look that great when you walk in because of not that big inside but right behind the store is the warehouse where just like Sam's Club you can order by the case on all your favorite food items. Just tell then what you are looking for and they Will direct you to what you need
Great selection of food in the industrial size quantities. Great sale on prime rib and seafood!!
