Hi! This is an honest review about MRMS middle River middle school As a student here taking 7th grade this year. First off, the school is, well ok. For the most part, the school tries to engage their students with events, such as winter wonderland and field trips, and surveys. Mostly, the majority of teachers here are nice and ok. The major issue I have with this school is the students. Most students here don’t care about learning and decided to do whatever they want. To vandalizing the school, to playing games in class, and just say what ever they want is not ok example of this is saying cuss words to the teachers and the students on a daily basis Not only that, but the multiple fights here to and skipping classes. Yes, some students are complete opposite to this but this mostly the majority of the school. Teachers try to tell and stop the students but the students won’t listen. Not only that, but some students were even vaping in the girls bathroom! during my time in 6th grade’s lunch break. Another major issue I have is the trash. This might not contribute to all teachers but in some cases, teachers room were sometimes filled with trash and debree everywhere! To the point where sometimes in the school buildings we would see cockroach’s, ants, and even rats! If the MRMS team sees this, please try to find a way to fix this problem! I’m hoping this 7th grade year will be a lot better then my 6th grade year. In total I will give it 2 stars do to some of the friendly staff and the events we have in the school. Would not recommend this school.

This is the worst school i have ever been to in my entire life. I have attended numerous public schools my whole life and never have i been one like middle river . I went to this school for my 7th and 8th grade years and I was harassed consistently by Principal Mr Roffman he was a i weirdo , creepo who constantly harassed me my younger brother on numerous occasions . It got to the point where i felt as though i was being discriminated against . He would ask me blatant questions that he knew the answer to and say my name in a condescending way . It’s was sick. Not to mention the loser teachers that teach at this school the best one was Ms Masters that’s about it . I’ll never forget when i was given a “happy birthday card “ an entire month after my birthday . Not to mention the students who were mean rude and always engaging in fist fights with each other like they’re animals . Do yourself a favor and keep your child away from this school at all costs.

The portions are often too small to satisfy hungry students, leaving many feeling hungry and unsatisfied after lunch. This can lead to a decrease in concentration and productivity and can even impact the student's overall health. Furthermore, the school's cafeteria is often overcrowded, making it difficult for students to find a seat to eat their lunch. This can lead to unnecessary stress and anxiety for students, which can negatively impact their mental health. In conclusion, the poor quality of lunches at Middle Rivers Middle School is a serious concern that needs to be addressed. Students need access to healthy and nutritious meals to support their physical and mental growth. By increasing the variety of options, improving the quality of ingredients, and offering larger portions, the school can create an environment that supports the overall health and well-being of its students.

my grandson will be going to middle school this fall 2023. we were considering enrolling him in to this schoolmagnet program however reading the review here, bullying, uncontrollable students etc...jeez having 2nd thought about it. :

My daughter Hates this school it's her first year there and the students are very disrespectful to others and staff and nothing is done! My child also found drugs in the school bathroom. She has been in two fights this year over her being bullied. We are free NC and not used to such rude children and staff. When school year is over I'm sending her to another state to go to school. Baltimore county sucks!!!

I just transferred from Perry Hall Middle School last fall and that school wasn't bad at all. In fact, there were more whites than blacks. I've seen that most students including me took the bus there and most of them had expensive houses. When i first came here late-September 2016, I found out that the school was kinda interesting, there was no assistant sitting next to me in the classroom setting. One of the things i discovered that i was going to be a walker and most other students were. But things started to get worse when quarters' 3 & 4 came along, I had to meet this disgusting speech therapist, She had flies in her office and a stained laptop that she used with huge food crumbs on it. And I had this retarded adult sitting next to me in class and thinks i'm the dumbest person in the school. Quarter 4 IS THE WORST EVER!!! Students started bringing in spinners, fidget cubes, and slime. Students also had their hoods up in school even though it's not cold out anymore, and refuse to put them down when told to, getting up in the middle of class, play in the classroom while there's a unknown substitute, being late for class, missing there bus so they can meet a walker across the street, being absent too much, getting the teacher to send them to the Administrator, fighting and walking around in the hallways, make a mess at a cafeteria table, and listening to music and texting on there cellphones. It's like guys don't DO THAT!!!!!! I'm giving this a 2/5 stars, Please don't let your students go here!

Its the WORST school ever! Most the teacher dont care about their students education. The student have no problem getting up in the middle of clase and leaving. Most teachers have no control over their clases. Plus the student get into many fights. Its daily. The student also curse. But nobody cares. The area around the school is bad too! There are drug deals and robbery. The teachers grade unfair and they pick favorites. If your son or daughter is going there CHANGE SCHOOLS.

This school is overall horrible, the bathrooms are filthy, in the 8th grade bathroom one sink works, kids cuss all the time, but adults do nothing and act like it would be normal for 11-13 year old kids to cuss. The kids here get picked on all the time for stupid reasons, the teachers have no control over their class, there is always a fight over something unreasonable. One time when it was almost 80 degrees outside, kids were all over the hallway for water because all of them were empty, and only one water fountain works. The teachers get disrespected, and students are just rude, no kid or parent would ever send their child here. I would have never sent any child here, I would have rather let them drop out then go to this disappointment as a school.

A large portion of the students at this school are disrespectful to adults and other classmates. Students have no issue with walking out of class and when teachers try to stop them the student will curse at the teacher or ignore them. There really is no consequences for the students' actions because they still do it. There is fights all the time and students do not respect other students opinions or ideas. I would not enroll my student here.

This school is HORRIBLE! My son was accused for saying a innarpropiate term and forced to move up front after moving away from a disruptive student he moved to another desk and a few minutes after he gets yelled at and forced to move up front at a lone desk with no one around to talk to in partner work, my son also has to face detention and a meeting with a adminstrator and the teacher he got in trouble for nothing, because of this i am suing the school. If the admins or principal reads this, get my son out of trouble or you will be sued, including every teacher. If my son is forced detention tomorrow I will have my lawyer, and I will see you in court.
