They've been taking care of our fur baby since we got him when he was teeny and put him on the puppy plan! He got his microchip there as a baby and goes in for his semi annual checkups. They clean his teeth, clip his nails, help ensure none of his cysts are cancerous, and have been wonderful working with us to find a solution to his allergies - he used to scratch himself so hard he'd bleed in the fall and spring. The staff is so kind and gentle and even though he returns sleepy and a little out of it after his yearly anesthesia for a deep tooth clean, our boy is not afraid of the vets and surprisingly walked himself right back into the room with the nurse last time he went!
They took amazing care of my kitty, Beignet. He was close to death but, now, he is back to his old self! Thank you! During treatment and after treatment pics.
Originally had an appointment at Banfield Mt. Juliet but they rescheduled due to Inclement weather. Called Banfield in Smyrna and they welcomed me with open arms for an appointment same day. This review is honestly for Natalia, the vet technician. She went above and beyond the standard care to answer my questions and listen to all of my concerns. She could probably tell I was nervous to bring my dog to a new vet but she talked to me and handled my dog Bruno as if she’d known us for years. She was compassionate to my situation, understanding of my wants and concerns and determined to give me the best care she could give while being up front and honest the entire time. It was an immediate click and sigh of relief once I realize Natalia was going to get us the best medical opinion she could get- she honestly should be a doctor with how great her bedside manner is for her furry patients. Banfield, give this woman a RAISE!! She deserves that and more- she is going to keep your customers coming backs so I promise- YOU NEED HER! Thank you Natalia!! Truly, you were amazing and made our visit to the vet simple and painless.
Thank you Smyrna Banfield doctor&staff. Having to make the decision to put my Honey girl to sleep was unbearable. You all were so compassionate and comforting. I really appreciate it. This is a good place to trust. Thanks again.
My grand-dog have separation anxiety, allergies & just get so stressed out. They do their best not to stress him out even more by telling him it's okay, they also rub on him with a little massage. They reallly show us love & respect every time. My grand-dog can feel your good or bad vibes. Well their vibes are good & very well appreciated. The best thing to do for my grand-dog is to hand them my leash along with theirs & walk away. Dr. Dozier, Dr. Hen & their assistants are great as well. Let's not forget about the friendly staff at the front desk. They are respectful, nice & have a lot of patience for our furry babies.
They take the best care of your fur babies. They helped me last year when I lost my baby suddenly. I didn't know what to do or where else to turn. I called them and they took care of everything with the upmost respect and discretion.
The staff is extremely friendly they show so much love and care for our furry baby. The Doctor even call you to give your information regarding you baby. I like it very much.
The kindest people! All of the staff, especially the techs & both vets we have encountered here, have been amazing. About a month ago, they diagnosed our 15 year old fur baby & gave a few weeks to a month. They were compassionate & explained to us all of our options for end of life care in detail as well as our options for when our girl decided it was her time. She let us know yesterday that she was ready to go to Heaven, we took her back here & they again were so kind & compassionate. They loved on Hope as if she was their own baby & they were so gentle & caring to us during such a hard time. I would recommend them to anyone!
A truly terrible experience at Banfield. No one had a clue on what they were doing. My pet didn’t even receive care because they couldn’t muzzle him. Why were they muzzling him?? Oh because he was “jumpy”, what in the world?! Literally had my dog for max 10 seconds before they said “here you try”. Then tell me he needs Trazodone, was told by the Vet I could use mine for him then comes back and says “never mind after talking to someone else we need you to buy it for him”. I told them before the visit I had a coupon for a free vet visit and they immediately started trying to find reasons why he couldn’t be seen. Honestly just grabbing for money. I rescheduled and bought the medicines from them. Then thought about my experience and decided I didn’t trust them with my dog. I called to cancel my appointment and they asked if I wanted to reschedule to which I said no I had a really poor experience. Then the vet says OK good thing. I said did you really just say good thing about my poor vet experience at your vet clinic. He said that’s not what I meant and I said have a good day. Banfield is only there to pocket money and don’t actually care about your pet. Unbelievable.
Always great. The doctors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The health plans are great and have save us a lot of money over the years.
