Jasmine on Nutrition & Food services, was very professional and pleasant today , she was able to uplift my mood while I was at the cafeteria waiting to get food , she made sure I was well fed and taken care of , she went above and beyond her means to make sure I was fine emotionally, spiritually and physically this are the type of workers that we need in an environment such as the hospital. I was going thru some personal challenges but she made my day , She deserves a pay raise , 5 stars customer service . Mr.John was a pleasure meeting you and please keep such a good and hard worker like Jasmine. Stay blessed !
I went to the ER on a Saturday night and I got checked in almost right away. I got seen by a Dr. within an hour and a half, got my x-rays done, diagnosed and checked into a room that same night, so I could get a procedure done the next day. I was out that next day by the afternoon. The best part of my whole experience there was how extremely nice and comforting the entire hospital staff was...the staff that checks you in when you get there, the staff that takes your blood pressure and gets your initial vitals, the nursing staff, x-ray techs, all the doctors/specialists, and even the janitorial lady. The entire time I was there, there was always a nurse or doctor checking in on me, making sure I was as comfortable as possible and making sure I was feeling as best as I could. After the procedure they got me checked out as fast as possible so they could get me home. AMAZING hospital staff, nursing staff and doctors/specialists!!!!! I'm so glad I picked this hospital for my emergency situation. Thank you so much Wellstar Cobb from my family and I!!!
Went to the emergency room and was pretty busy . The staff were very nice and friendly . The wait can be a little bit but process was pretty quick . I was admitted and was in the emergency room over night and then transfer over to short stay unit . I stayed in the short stay unit for a day and was waiting for a room upstairs in the heart unit . My nurse in the emergency room was very nice. My nurse in the short stay unit was very nice and cool . The cleaning staff are were nice and the cca i think or pca was very nice and friendly. I got my food on time . They was giving me meds and checking up on me like they should . Overall i had a great experience while being in the hospital. Thank you wellstar . Very clean hospital from what I’ve seen
I had to go to the ER here for abdominal pain the other day. The staff were all very nice and friendly, but I was concerned about the hygiene there. They took a urine and blood samples, which they then proceeded to leave lying out on the counter for hours. Also when one of the nurses was taking me to another part of the hospital for testing, she stopped to clean some dirty sheets and towels that had been left out and then continued handling me I was in a wheelchair WITHOUT sanitizing her hands. I was super grossed out. I need to have surgery, but am definitely going somewhere else.
Recently I had to bring my mother , who is 92 years old , and my experience was beyond my expectations. The nurses and the staff is very polite and courteous. They are prompt with their service and everything worked out on time. The facility is spic and span and cleanup are round the clock. The doctors are well versed with their work and provide ample explanations and my mother got all the support she needed. I am from New Jersey and had no idea what is it to expect but waiting. This hospital was a refreshing change and we were very pleased with the service we got from this facility. I would give 5 star anytime. Each and every staff works with diligence and the best jobs ever. Thank you all.
The ER is horrible. My elderly mother was brought in after suffering a stroke and sat in an exam room in the ER for 14 hours before finally being taken to a room in the IMCU. She got zero attention in the ER until a PHENOMENAL nurse named Jenny came on duty and got things moving. Our experience in the IMCU was mixed. For the most part, I felt like my mother was written off because of her age. Some of the nurses and techs were great and gave her good care, but others were terrible. A nurse named Henry was very attentive, kind and compassionate. There were others I wish I could remember their names. There was a different male nurse who was bad on so many levels- unskilled, arrogant, dismissive, inattentive, etc, etc. I could write a whole review on this nurse alone. The cardiology department was bad. They were very slow to respond when the nurses told them that my mom was having issues. There were two doctors and a nurse who questioned us about my mother’s status of whether or not she was DNR who did this right in front of my mom while she was conscious and aware yet unable to communicate, because the stroke had affected her speech. They should’ve pulled us into the hallway for this discussion rather than doing it in front of her. After 10 days we had to make the difficult decision that it was time to let my mother go. We were told by the doctor that the nurse would come in often to check on us and see if my mom needed medications to keep her comfortable. This did not happen. We had to seek the nurse out twice and wait for him to bring her medication. While we were in the room with our dying mother, we had cheerful people coming in to do routine things like draw bloodwork and deliver her meal and we had to send them away. This was very difficult. It seems like the hospital could have a system in place to put a sign on the patient’s door to alert their staff about the patient status so that this would not happen. There were a few compassionate doctors and nurses at this hospital, but overall it was a bad experience and I would never go to this hospital for care again.
Worst hospital im the Area! I went to the emergency room with and infection stemming from a broken tooth, I literately sat for hours before I was led to back and then was taken to a room for an iv solution once it was complete I sat in the same room for hours with blood retracting back into the iv in pain. When I asked the nurse could I please have a bed and was short of breath she simply left the room. Turns out I have blood infection and if I would have not went to Northside I would have been in a life threatening condition. Don’t go to this hospital.
I was seen in the ED here earlier today, and my physician Dr. Barnes and my nurse Paul were two of the most compassionate professionals I’ve ever met. The care in the ED was fantastic. As a fellow healthcare professional from out of state, I highly recommend this emergency department for timely, empathetic, and excellent care.
This hospital is by far the absolute worse! Unlike most hospitals they do not give you a room to be comfortable in while you are in pain. They sit you in another waiting area in the back & yell out all of your business infront of everyone in the hall! They are constantly violating HIPPA in this hospital! You will have no privacy you’ll be seen in the HALLWAY , DIAGNOSED IN THE HALL WAY & DISCHARGED in the hall way. They have no respect for Anyones privacy here. The nurses are too busy gossiping and on their phones to even care about ppl that are coming to the hospital for help! They look at you like you are wrong when you ask them a question! By far the worst experience ever. I’m calling to make a complaint tomorrow because there’s no way they’re legally saying all of your information in front of several people .
I said I broke my foot, doctor said it was a sprain. Guess who was actually right? Came in with an foot injury. Swollen, bad angle, discolored, and bruising heavily on the bottom/sole of my foot. After multiple broken bones in life, I knew it was broken. Doctor took xrays, lol’d at my expressions of pain and my insistence about it’s seriousness, sent me home with Advil and soft boot, and diagnosed me with severe sprain. Turns out my foot was broken in seven places. My final diagnosis by followup appointment with a specialist was lis franc fracture. So, yes, thank you for ensuring I wouldn’t die. But no thank you for sending me home with only Advil and a soft boot to suffer. Will return if actually dying. Have previously had a 2week visit in gynecology ? ward in which I was very well treated. If not dying, seek more attentive treatment elsewhere. Hospital Stay: 4.5 stars ER visit: 2 stars cause at least everyone in the ER was kind with a good attitude
