I had an appointment for my elderly cat at 5pm, this was on a day that they close at 7. I was getting him into their wellness program and worried about his current health. The vet was so informative and the staff even stayed until 730 just for my cat. Running tests, giving me information, and also giving me advice. They took their time figuring out the most affordable way for me to get my cat everything he needs, and they seems genuinely concerned for him. She even thanked me for adopting an elder I got him when he was 12. They even called the next day to see how he was doing. Turns out my cat will be fine and hopefully we'll have another decade of memories together. I look forward to more appointments with them. It's refreshing after all the other locations I've been do, to have people actually tell me what's going and not just try to charge me for everything.
Absolutely love this place, I couldn't ask for a better team to take care of my babies. Dr. Amy is great and very thorough with my pets and she always recognizes them as soon as she sees them. : All of the girls are great as well Suzanne and Melissa are the two that I usually deal with the most and they are always super sweet, helpful and down to earth. I feel very comfortable in knowing that my pets are being taken care of by this team, I wouldn't imagine taking them anywhere else.
I walked in with my pet because I was worried he had fleas. The office was able to check him for fleas quickly and determined that was not his issue. The lady looking him over suspected he might have an ear infection. They were able to get me in for a quick visit with Dr Scott and helped get Zeus medication for his ear infection. We determined he likely has allergies and a course of action for that as well. The staff was so nice and accommodating of my gigantic puppy getting him water and helping him be seen quickly so he could get home to his family for dinner.This is not my normal vet office and they were on my way home but because I was so worried Zeus needed immediate attention or resolution for his fleas which he does not have, I stopped here and I am glad I did. Zeus is thankful that he is getting better. Thank you for seeing my baby so quickly and answering all my questions. Dr Scott and her team are great!
They are so wonderful with not only mine but everyones fur-babies. They are very thorough in their exam and questions to make sure the best care is being given. I my self have enrolled in the pet care program and I could not be happier.
We looked all over NWI for a decent rated vet with reasonable prices. We were very suspect at first and nervous taking our two fur baby kitties to a "chain" vet office inside a pet store. All of those worries were put to rest as soon as we walked in the door! The staff is very friendly and welcoming; they get excited to see our babies and pet them. One of our kitties found a random flea and got worms, they were able to check her and diagnose immediately! Within 15 mins we were done and out! This place leaves us feeling safe and confident our babies are well taken care of!
After scheduling my Pet for her comprehensive exam over a week ago and taking a day off work to make sure I could get her there and picked up on time. I was contacted today to be told her appointment needed to be rescheduled. The associate was extremely rude and I am very displeased to say the least. After over 5 yrs with Banfield I was attempting to take her to Merrillville as it closer to my home, but the lack of communication until the very last second when I have taken a day off, the lack of apparently the ability of their online scheduling service to know that this appointment time wasnt actually available and the rudeness of the employee I spoke with,she will remain at the schererville location. Customer service skills classes may be needed for some that work at this location, it appears.
Very unprofessional, I had an appointment for my dog's follow up after I had spent 300 dollars for an ear infection. The appointment was for 5 pm and we showed up 10 min early. I went to the counter and after standing there for at least 5 minutes to talk to someone, I asked how long would our wait be since I was about 5 min early at this point. The woman behind the counter smugly says honestly you will probably have to wait at least 2 hours. I replied that I had an appointment, she says sorry but we are real busy. I said, why couldn't someone call. They said they didn't have my number. Even though two weeks ago,when I filled out the paper work for the original visit, I gave them two different phone numbers they could get a hold of me with. I would recommend taking your pet somewhere else unless it's an emergency.
This vet is the best I have ever had for my animals. They have a program where you pay monthly and everything is covered for emergencies as well as wellness exams. Vet are very qualified and compassionate.
I love Dr. Rock she is the best and the staff is amazing thank y'all for taking such good care of Diamond
No availability for those who work full time . Wish I knew about Coyne before I started my wellness plan . Will not be renewing
