The owners of the business, Robert and Nicki have over 15 years experience in the industry of training, certifying, and helping to assist in job placement for up and coming, beginner bartenders! What we like to tell people is the HONEST truth here. We are not a bartending school trying to sell you a dream, if anything, we sell you reality. Meaning , you can not reasonable expect to be placed in a club or on a cruise ship ( like bartending schools promise people ) when you are done with our training! The price for our certification and training is a very reasonable 195.00. That price is non negotiable, what is negotioable is how you pay us. We have payment plans and make this attainable by anyone who wants to get in. There are many a bartending schools that only train, and certify you that charge from 400-950 per person, with no help finding a job, we train, certify, and have a real live staff of people you are speaking with, ( no internet site ) for your job placement, it can not get much easier , or affordable, or BETTER THAN THAT!
One major problem we deal with every day, is that people like to come to us, and pick and choose which places they want to work in. We deal with reputable restaurants and bars but people we interview on a daily basis like to tell us where they want to work. People refuse jobs because they do not want to work in certain places, " Oh I do not want that restaurant ". People , when you complete the training and it comes time for your placement, our job developement department will work with you to the ends of the earth if need to be to place you, just take the places we give you and go to work! It is that simple.
WE WILL PUT EVERYONE OUT TO WORK , ESPECIALLY NOW AS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS ARE FASTLY APPROACHING, JUST PUT THE EFFORT INTO LEARNING WHAT WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU, AND THE REST IS SIMPLE.
We deal with banquet halls, bars, and restaurants. these are permanent positions with no moving around, or temp assignments, when you are staffed, that is your JOB! Treat it like you would any other job. Have fun but know you will have to bust your ass once you start working. Please also, no drinking on the job too. If someone buys you a shot, under no circumstances to you except it. LOL . The money one makes as a bartender is great, reasonably expect to earn 100-200 per shift every day just leaving our facility and going out to work. We refuse to lie to any one and sell you a dream of , " Oh you can make 500 a night bartending ". You can make that, but not after leaving a training facility just breaking into the business, everything takes time. As far as your tuition to come here, we make this incredibly affordable for EVERYONE. We dont believe in ripping people off and charging 400-900 like bartending schools do for training! We make sure if you want to attend our training seminars , and go out to work afterwards, you can as we make it again, very affordable!
The thing about BAR ACADEMY is yes, our main area of focus will be training and helping to place new bartenders in the position of bartending, BUT, we will also assist in the placement of COOKS, WAITERS, HOSTS, BUS BOYS, etc. If there is a position on the restaurant business we will try to get you placed in it, with our main area of focus being training, certifying, and placing bartenders!
