Since being establish in New York in 1939, Barbizon's graduates have graced the covers of top fashion magazines, as well as appeared on Fashion Week's stages, on television and on the silver screen.
Barbizon is currently searching for new models, actors, singers and dancers to be coached and presented to Hollywood's top licensed agents, managers and casting directors. Barbizon works with parents to educate and prepare young talent to gain a stronger sense of identity, self-confidence and increased emotional stability, resulting in the power to think ideas through and make the right decisions. For over 75 years, Barbizon mentors and coaches have been assisting teenages through their most critical years as they mature into young adults.
Through it all, Barbizon has maintained a fundamental approach in our training and development. In fact, our approach and methods are slightly old fashioned - we believe that feeling confident in oneself means speaking with authority, walking with pride and dressing with style.
