I'll organize this review to keep it shorter. I've been a patient at the Baskin Clinic for over a decade. Their model of care: I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Appointments and labs, etc. are prompt, very easy to schedule. My first visit, in 2009, was when I returned from a trip out of the US and caught a virus that was causing me some difficult issues. My medical group at the time did not appear to be in a hurry to get answers. I moved over to Dr. Baskins' office, had an initial visit, and was able to be seen by several specialists he is connected with - all within 48 hours. They have expanded to a second office in Tualatin, which has been helpful recently I live midway between there and Portland, and had occasion to recently visit that office. Their medical staff: caring, focused, and professional. I enjoy my visits even more because of them. Dr. Baskin: he is kind, practical, and has a good sense of humor...for me, he is the ultimate wise doctor. He is 180 degrees opposite from the aloof demeanor one sometimes gets in the medical world. He listens attentively, and sincerely addresses concerns - even to stubborn patients like me. I have never felt rushed in the slightest during my time in his office. Dr. Amavisca, in their Tualatin office, is fantastic as well. "Concierge" care might mean different things to different people. For me, I am grateful to be able to have this group of professionals looking after me.
This place is a scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. With the flat fee they charge the doctors at this office do the bare minimum. My full physical literally only consisted of my BP being taken and a generic blood panel that didn't even come back with conditions I already knew I had. It's basically a referral center, but even the doctors they refer you to aren't accepting new patients. To top off the horrible experience this place offers, Dr. Cuneo actually wanted to withhold vital information about my health. I've never heard a doctor so adamant about not sharing health information with their own patient. I'll definitely be following up with my lawyers as I'm not even sure that's legal. DO NOT GO HERE. They don't care about their patients or their time.
If you are looking for genuine next level service for your medical care, look no further than the Baskin Clinic. Dr. Lester Baskin is exceptional at what he does and obviously passionate about his patients. I originally reached out to the Baskin Clinic several years ago out of pure frustration in trying to get some basic medical care through more conventional clinics. Unlike other places I called, these folks were responsive from the first call and fit me in quickly despite the fact I was a new patient at that time. During my initial meeting with Dr. Baskin it was so abundantly clear he was not only a very capable physician but sincerely enthusiastic about providing a new and better experience in health care. This guy loves what he does and genuinely invests himself in his patients! In fact, the entire staff at the Baskin Clinic seems to share his enthusiasm which clearly indicates a culture of passion for care which I have not seen anywhere else. A refreshing service in an industry that has sadly become more about revenue than patient care. Patient care is clearly priority one at the Baskin Clinic.
Dr Reding is everything you want in a doctor.  She is compassionate, smart, curious, a good listener and, apparently, void of ego. My wife and I have been super impressed with her timely response to questions and requests - even during weekends and holidays. It seems she is never "off duty". If we have a question about a medical issue that she isn't up on, she does her research and is able to explain what she finds in terms that are easy to understand. She is the rare doctor who is willing to think out of the box and look for new and up to date ideas about what might be the best treatment and prevention options. In addition, she goes the extra mile to talk with whatever specialist we need to see to better understand any of the issues we may be dealing with.  It's refreshing to find doctor who's first - and sometimes only - response to a medical issue isn't to just prescribe a pill and wish you good luck. Having Dr. Reding available at The Baskin Clinic allows easy access to a passionate advocate for my health. To have one doctor who understands your medical history and becomes familiar with your lifestyle is invaluable and rare in our current healthcare system.  We can't recommend her enough.
Their phone system is all screwed up — numbers don’t correspond to what they say they do. I had my credit card in hand ready to sign up but why would I trust my health to a group of people who can’t even get their phone system to work properly? And aren’t paying close enough attention to know that it’s all screwed up.
One of the best decisions I've ever made was to become a patient in the Baskin Clinic. Dr. Heather Baskin has been kind, attentive, available and competent. My experience has reinforced the valuable role primary care providers play in our lives. The office staff is outstanding too. Kudos to Wendy and Rebecca for their patience, professionalism and ability to welcome each patient warmly. Their phlebotomy skills are excellent. Top ratings to Baskin Clinic.
I want to write a review of Baskin Clinic in NW Portland, near Good Samaritan Hospital. I have been a member of three different concierge medical groups in the last six years, and Baskin Clinic is the best! The Clinic itself is always clean, and the office staff treat each patient with respect and friendliness, whether providing service in the office or on a phone call. My doctor Dr. Rebecca Neborsky is phenomenal, and one of the most outstanding physicians I have ever worked with. She is bright, thorough, well schooled in medical practices and techniques, and is a great detective to determine what is going on with your body. Dr. Neborsky understands that each of us is a unique person with unique chemistry. At times when I have experienced a scary health challenge, she is right there with me, guiding me through the process of recovering my health. I feel fully confident that as I age, whatever happens with my body, we will recover and heal together. As a benefit of being part of a Concierge medical clinic, if you become ill and your doctor is on vacation, another physician will work with you. As a 77 year old with many chemical sensitivities, I had a tough time when I contacted Covid even with 2 shots, 2 boosters. Dr. Lisa Cuneo guided me through my healing each day with Covid, and I was so grateful for her kindness, advice and careful monitoring. I am truly blessed to be part of the patients at Baskin Clinic. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lester Baskin. My husband and I have been going to the Baskin Clinic for almost a year. Wonderful staff/wonderful service. This past summer, I had an emergency hospitalization and Dr. Baskin was totally there for me and got me to the appropriate specialist and continued to check on me until I was totally 100%. Several months ago, I had a balance issue that was very concerning to me. Not only was Dr. Baskin immediately available to see me but figured out what the issue was and knew how to treat it. This past weekend when the balance issue symptoms returned and I had a house full of guests, Dr. Baskin was available when I called and even did a house call. I have had three different primary care physicians in the last forty years and by far Dr. Baskin is the most patient-engaging, caring physician that I have been to. He is very knowledgeable, calm and remembers me and my health situation. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor.
I have had the distinct pleasure of having Dr. Neborsky at the Baskin Clinic in Portland as my primary physician for more than a year now. She is a highly effective communicator, problem solver, and a great health coach. She always takes the time to listen, and answers my every question. She is always highly responsive on email and text, and getting an appointment the same or next day has never been a problem. Once in the office, I never wait more than 5 minutes. The rest of the staff is very friendly, highly efficient, and great at their jobs. I highly recommend the Baskin Clinic and Dr. Neborsky particularly.
The Quick & Dirty: Amazing team! Highly recommend the Baskin Clinic, especially Dr. Wolpert! The Details: I have been a patient of the Baskin Clinic for the past two years. I chose the Baskin Clinic because in the past, my busy schedule often interfered with scheduling appointments. This was compounded by the limited availability of the providers I saw. In the end, it was me and my health that suffered. The direct primary care model utilized at the Baskin Clinic allows me to put my health first. The clinic’s schedule meets my needs. Appointments are always convenient; I can count on my doctor to be on time for my appointment; and I never feel rushed while talking to my doctor. The best part is I can reach out to and communicate with my doctor at any time. This has been incredibly handy, especially during covid, because I can receive timely answers to my questions without the hassle of unnecessary office visits. I have stayed at the Baskin Clinic because the staff is wonderful. Everyone I have interacted with, from the office staff to the on call doctor I spoke to late on a weekend night, have all been incredibly gracious. 
I see Dr. Wolpert. They are friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and listen carefully to my concerns. I really appreciate that they help me take an active role in my care by providing me with the information and guidance I need to make decisions about my care. I cannot imagine going back to the old model of primary care. I’m so glad I found Dr. Wolpert and the Baskin Clinic. I highly recommend them! The only feedback for improvement I might have for the clinic is that I would like to be billed consistently on the same day each month, give or take the time it takes the bank to process the payment. A small price to pay for all the positives.
