Big ups to batteries+bulbs 997 in Torrance. I arrived with a failing motorcycle in the rain, and parked on the covered dry sidewalk, just in case I needed a sprint to bumpstart my bike and avoid the wheels slipping in the rain. Thanks to them, I didn't have to. Even before I told him I would make a purchase, Ron lent me his tools: Allan key set, sockets and ratchet, Phillips screwdriver, so that I could pull my bike apart and retrieve the battery. He then put a voltmeter to it so I could be sure it was the battery and not just a faulty connection on my bike: helping me identify the problem, potentially saving me money, and good for the environment too. He lit up my makeshift work area with a flashlight, easing the disassembly and reassembly, and checked in between other customers he was helping to see how it was going. He already had my motorcycle battery spec and size in stock, rare for even a motorcycle shop, and rarer still for a shop like this. When I pulled up I thought I was going to be a drag on someone's workday that perhaps just wanted to kickback. But the treatment I got was much different. Rob helped me back on my feet or bike rather and I didn't have to bumpstart my bike in the rain again. Thanks for everything! Bike starts strong, lights are bright, and I got to catch a skate sesh with my friends right after
I’ve been going there somewhat regularly the year or so. They are always helpful. I’ve bought 2 batteries and a charger for a truck that I don’t use very often. I also bought batteries for the 2 cars that I owned. Now it’s just one. They explained the pros and cons of the types of batteries without trying to influence my decision and upsell me. I am very happy with my experiences there.
Excellent service! Very easy transaction, ordered online and picked up all three marine batteries, total in-person time was less than 10 minutes. All 3 batteries were fully charged and ready to go. Will definitely come here again in a few years when it comes time to replace.
Great Service and Professional! Cesar helped me double check my order before I go to the store to pick up. He found I ordered the wrong battery and fixed for me immediately on the phone. When I arrived the store, Jonathan brought tools and waited for me in front of the store even helped me to change the battery that is very sweet. I had a good experience here. The people are very considerate!
Customer service at the Torrance store is great. We had to order 3 times because of some errors on our side. They stuck with us and even charged our unit for us since we are homeless in a van. Ron was super patient
Went here to get a new back cover for my very old phone & was happy they had it in stock! Left it & came back about a half hour later & my phone was ready to go! Very reasonably pricing too. Store has a large selection of batteries of all kinds & light bulbs as well. I now know where to get my special bulbs at Christmas!
The kindness & courtesy shown by all the employees like Cesar & your wonderful store manager Ron. They invited me to come down, and fill out my business information. They were so patient as I had a little confusion with my old retired credit card, & found my new card. I paid for two batteries.....& plan to continue buying them for my other cars in my business. Owner told me that they use the best glass Nice guy decent service but his glass is no better and maybe worse than most phone had A closed case on it . 2 ft from easy chair to the floor!! Broke badly it is no different. Lasted 3 weeks, asked him to give me a new one at his cost he said no. Another $89 Is another case of batteries plus not standing behind their products
The people there were very kind and professional. Cesar, who changed my phone battery, did it very well and in a timely manner. It was all I could have hoped for considering I never had to get something like this done before. I will definitely be coming back for any phone related issues if I have any.
Excellent and speedy service. My iPhone 7 Plus battery was replaced in 20 mins. No mess, no fuss, and I received a discount. I'm impressed.
