Battle Bend Park

I take my pup there every morning. During the week it is not crowded and we can play ball for a bit. The only downside is people don't seem to pick up after their pets on the back side of the park, even though there are bags available.

I really like this park with the exception that there are not restrooms. I went to visit a close friend and stopped here for a few minutes for the kids to enjoy. Everything else is great about the park.

Not ideal in the mornings, homeless folks sleep on the table under the gazebo and literally pee by the kids play ground and literally poo by the tree line just behind. Bball court keeps getting muddy and becomes very slick after all dries up

Great little park. Nice scenery considering it's in the industrial part of town. With a basketball court across from the play ground.

Nice quiet park. Took my dog out to play fetch. The only concern was the grass was pretty tall. Luckily, my dog has tick and flea repellent.

I play basketball at BBEND at least 3x/week. Nice for a public park. Court has great paint job. Colors are well defined. The foul lines, 3 arc, etc stand out and were measured properly. Plenty of good pickup games. Also great dog park/hike and bike trails. Great ppl. Highly recommend

This neighborhood is cute and tucked away. But these speed bumps are unnecessary.

Battlebend has been around for a long time since I was a kid it's one of the most safest and cleanest parks In Austin. It's in a neighborhood but anyone can go there, back in the 90s it wasn't as kept up as it is now I would definantly rate this park a 8 cause they also have basketball courts there and you will always run into good folks up for a game. Playground: Pretty big playground it's perfect for the kids. Dog-friendliness: Your pets are absolutely welcome at battlebend just make sure you keep them on a leash especially if they are not good with people and kids. Picnic area: If your celebrating a birthday this spot is perfect plenty of room for fun. Only thing is the restrooms are far so make sure you go before heading out.

Even though it's a nice park with really cool climbing structures, everything bars, steps, etc for climbing is too spaced out for short little legs. My toddler is a surprisingly good climber for her age and if the bars and steps were just a few inches closer together she'd have no problem. It's really disappointing that there is nothing there for her size.

Nice neighborhood park with a playground and lots of room to spread out and play some yard games.
