Very clean and neat German/Czech restaurant. Great tasting food with European specific. My goulash was fantastic that my son had changed his order just to enjoy his own plate. So was the German chocolate dessert. Very polite and respectful personnel, knowing the etiquette and acting accordingly. Not a cheap place, but definitely you get what you paid for. There is also a lodge with pool, fire place and other amenities along with a small gift shop. I was nicely impressed. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu integrated in the main one. Nicely and respectfully talking to kids and listen to their preferences and questions. Parking: Plenty of parking spots.
The Bavarian Inn Restaurant is a gem hiding in plain sight. This German restaurant has all of the standards but the specialty is the roast quarter duck and it's amazing. Drowning in gravy and presented with sweet pickled cabbage it is a delight. The Jager Schnitzel is also fantastic, covered in gravy and with butter parsley potatoes on the side don't miss it either. Vegetarian options: They also had vegetarian choices. Parking: The restaurant shares the lot with the inn. Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking but there are stairs leading into the restaurant.
Really interesting menu and very retro, throwback type of interior design. Serving an eclectic crowd of locals, tourists and bikers. Very cool buzz. Food is good. Not super savory or spicy, but pretty authentic. Large portions. Good value for money.Dine in: Yes
The restaurant looks pretty with a colonial vibe and small tables nicely decorated. We are our dinner here. The server was very well mannered. We started with some sauerkraut soup. The portion size was decent for an appetizer. They provided some house baked rye breads and cubes of butters. The breads were decent. For the main entree I went with the schnitzel and my husband ordered the Bavarian plate. The schnitzel was good, however to my Indian taste buds it was a bit less salty, however nothing to complain. The Bavarian plate was nice and heavy with meats and potato pancakes etc. The food was pretty decent. I took a cup of coffee which they refilled later on. The coffee was very basic, just like a gas station one. Overall, we liked the place. It was a busy dinner hour at that time.
The food is fantastic! The dessert was delicious! I give it a 10 out of 10 great service. I highly recommend this establishment! If you have not been here you need to come and enjoy! Parking: Lot of big parking spaces! No door dings here!
I try the goulash , it was delicious. They have a variety of German beers The desserts German chocolate cake and the cheesecake were so good. Nice and quiet ambience. The service was excellent.
I had been wanting to visit the Bavarian Inn Restaurant for a long time and finally got the chance a couple days ago. We had a wonderful experience. My boyfriend had a beer that he had tried before in Germany and enjoyed - I think it was called Bitbauer? We tried the Hungarian plate, Bavarian plate, and weiner schnitzel. All of our food was excellent but I have to say the best part was dessert. I just cannot stop thinking about the German chocolate cake. It was so good I am writing this review in the middle of the night because it’s the only thing I can think about 2 days later. Seriously if it’s the only thing you do, go there and get that cake. You will not regret it. If my words aren’t convincing enough browse my photos and see how great that cake looks then imagine eating it. They are not paying me to say this. The cake really was just that good. Hungarian plate not pictured because we ate it too quickly
It’s simple. If you pay 4 employees standing around not doing anything, and customers are waiting to be seated or get drinks or ANYTHING… take care of those customers. The food was not worth the price, which seems to be typical of the area. Beef in the goulash was extremely tough and dry. Had to saw through it with a knife. Sauce had no flavor except muddled-brown blandness. The soup was luke warm. Everything tasted like it was made earlier in the week and reheated. Go somewhere else.
I was here some 25 years ago, and remembered how good the experience was. So when I planned a return trip to Eureka Springs, this place was on the top of my list of things to do. And, once again, it did not disappoint! The schnitzel was just as good. My grandson had the pork chops from which I tasted and took the bones to finish them, and I was blown away! He and I spoke often about those pork chops for the rest of our visit, and we even gave him the nickname "Pork Chop."
Always fabulous! Roast duck to perfection, goulash, dumplings and gravy delicious. Potato pancakes were spot on and so flavorful. Wonderful atmosphere, great service. Excellent German beer selectionDine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
