The owner genuinely cares about her guests and keeps the place extremely clean. We weren't going to make it to our planned stay and dreaded staying here with our 2 boys. We were pleasantly surprised. Bathroom was spotless, sheets and pillows were new and very clean. Direct TV for news and movies. Even the man who helped her with all the chores a professional violinist was great to talk to. He spoke highly of her standards. Overall a good experience. Also, they are from Texas! Thanks for giving us a room at the last minute! Blessings.
Since April 2022, this is now the independently-owned Eureka Springs Heritage Motel. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and are working to update and improve the property. The room price is extremely reasonable and the hosts make it a no-brainer decision to stay here.
Never had this bad of a room. The door locks wasn't working. There were only 2 working electrical outlets. Huge spider webs behind furniture. Sink drain didn't work well, super slow. Spider in the bed this morning. Planned staying 3 nights. Made it 1 night. Moving to another motel.
We came in, late afternoon. Couldn't get through on the phone while driving. By the time we got there, They didn't have th room we'd seen online. The friendly, efficient and adorable lady at the desk noticed my card and gave us a military upgrade for no extra. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool was just what we needed! $ well spent!
The lady name Lou who claims she is the manger is the most rude person I have ever dealt with. She will not listen, she will not answer questions then she told me she was not going to charge my card and then as soon as I was done speaking with her she charged my card. I would not stay here due to the lack of respect this lady has shown me. I have never been more upset with a hotel in my life.
We were able to check in 3 hrs early to our room which was super awesome as we had our pet with us. We asked for non smoking and the room smelled like cigarettes. Otherwise the staff was great and helpful the breakfast was ok if you want honey buns, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, juice and freshly made coffee.
Worst pillows I’ve ever slept on. We paid for queen beds and got full beds. Roof was leaking in the middle of the room. Room was about 90 degrees and muggy when we arrived. Only good thing about the stay was the pool. Otherwise I would elsewhere to stay.Rooms: 1/5
Pretty good for what you pay for! Overall would stay again Pros: Very friendly staff, breakfast, cold AC, no bugs, clean beds, no smoke smell, location Cons: large hole in bathroom door, couple of exposed outlets, a bit outdated. This was a great place to stay if you’re in Eureka Springs for a night or two and the pros definitely outweigh the cons!
At first we were in a room with very sunken and uncomfortable beds 117. We didn't sleep all night. After we told the front desk, we were immediately given another room, the only one open, and it was great. Since the hot tub by the pool was also not working, we were excited to get a Jacuzzi room 202. There is much to be done on the comfort and repair aspect but the staff is excellent and accommodating and did their best to help us enjoy out three night stay. So, 5 stars for that.
We booked this hotel because it was advertised with an indoor pool and continental breakfast. Upon arriving, the "indoor" pool was an outdoor pool and shut down because of the weather. The room smelled stale and musty. The toilet had to have the tank top taken off to keep the water from constantly running and allow it to able to flush again. The water didnt even get hot enough to take a shower. When we went to the lobby for breakfast at 7:45 we were told it started at 7:30, we found prepackaged, mini snacks mini honey buns, mini packages of powdered donuts, mini muffins... no juice, no water, no milk, no cereal... nothing of substance. And what laughable food was offered was almost empty and not even enough for our family to get one item each. We will never stay at this location again. Very disappointed.
