Super cute, clean, affordable, great service, friendly, great place to relax, breathe and have fun! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, nice balcony overlooking pool and wooded area. Fairly quiet especially considering they were sold out. The on-site restaurant/bar/registration desk is staffed by friendly knowledgeable people that make you feel like welcomed family. The food is delicious! And offers a wide variety of options. There is something for everyone. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised to be able to have choices other than a salad. On Fridays and Saturdays they have live music in the evening on the outdoor deck. We were treated to an amazing performance! Great talent. On site they also have kayak and SUP excursions. We were shuttled to the white river and enjoyed a beautiful and fun trip down the river. Our trip was 2 days and so relaxing and fun. We can't wait to return. Thanks Wanderoo!
We love the Wanderoo! It was my second trip back, and just like the first, everything was wonderful. The room was affordable and super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was clean. The food over at the Gravel Bar was delicious, and there was entertainment each night we stayed! The staff is also kind and helpful. I recommend this place to all my friends who travel to Eureka Springs, and we’ll be back just as soon as we can! Thanks, Wanderoo Lodge!
We stayed in the Whitewater cabin, which had a native stone exterior with white trim and cheerful yellow door. Very cute! The interior was very clean but definitely showed the true age of the cabin - the more recent renovations seemed hasty and did not cover the cracks and imperfections. The bathroom was smaller than it looked in the pictures, but we made do. Also, the homemade bed frame was a bit too large for the queen mattress and protruded quite a bit, and I barked my shins a few times getting into bed. The room had very cold AC, which was a welcome respite from the record heat, and heavy curtains blocked out most of the sunlight for an afternoon nap. In terms of service, the staff and housekeeper were all very friendly and accomodating. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, especially with the adjoining Gravel Bar next door. If you do stay here, just temper your expectations on room appearance, as it is a very old place almost 100 years, I believe. We will definitely be back. One more note: the Whitewater cabin is just feet away from Hwy 62, so you can hear every motorcycle with loud pipes come roaring by in the night. If noise bothers you, I would suggest a motel room instead of a cabin, as the main motel sits much further back from the road.
We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The room really nice and the bed super comfortable. The bar staff what can I say, super polite made me and my family welcome. The food at The Gravel Bar wow. The chips and salsa are the best, I’ve tried chips from other restaurants hand down to The Gravel Bar. My kids are picky eater they loved the Flat Bread Pepperoni Pizza and me an my wife hand the Veggie Nachos that was the best. The owners and the staff are the best. Thank you Wanderoo Lodge.
The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, included a refrigerator and microwave. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. My favorite menu item is the White River sandwich, so delicious and refreshing! John D, is just the best! He makes you feel welcome and entertains while giving great service! The staff there are awesome and I would highly suggest the Wanderoo Lodge and Restaurant to anyone spending time in Eureka Springs!
I love this place ... stayed 1 night in #134 bed was comfy, clean, had back porch, microwave, coffee, hot water, A/C worked good, awesome bar with live music, nice clean pool, tight parking, no breakfast..free or for sale. Most employees were very nice. The room on your receipt is not the room you get. Be sure to CALL and mention if you can't do stairs! I would stay again.
Very clean room with fridge and microwave. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent!! The night’s activity int the Gravel Bar/restaurant was a Trivia competition and it was very well organized and everyone had a lot laughs. I loved the retro feel of this place and that they kept some of the original signs. I will definitely stay here again .
Absolutely had an amazing stay here. The staff was all incredibly friendly, Mary the manager was great! My room was clean, the grounds were kept up very well. The first night I was here, they had live music, it was awesome. When I come back, I won’t even contemplate staying anywhere else.
While the service and atmosphere of the wanderoo is great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are extremely dog friendly. And it's nice to have a bar/food on the property. The room was not worth the amount spent. We paid over $200 dollars for one night. In a room with hot/cold water that didn't work right. Taking a shower was a nightmare. And an overall ok room. There are really no other words for the rooms other then they are fine. Could be compared to a motel room. There was no breakfast provided either. While being pet friendly is a plus, it's still not worth the amount spent. We would return if their prices change. Or they make updates to the rooms to make it worth the amount paid.
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! We enjoyed our stay despite the room not being quite what we expected. We later learned that some rooms have been renovated but the particular room we stayed in had not. I likely would give Wanderoo 5 stars all the way around if we had stayed in a renovated room.Rooms: 3/5
