This place is amazing. Records I thought I’d never come across all in one place and I didn’t even get through most of it hip hop collection I give major props to the curator of this store. Listening stations for discerning shoppers is available on the sl-1200 turntable no less. Records seemed very fairly priced and friendly customer service. My collection has amazing additions thanks to Beat Street!
A great record store, wide selection of music from all corners of the world and styles. Pricing is reasonable and not like discogs or ebay which makes a change from shopping in London. Friendly staff chill vibes. I haven't lived in vancouver for long but this is fast becoming my favourite places. My only feedback would If they can get some more jungle, drum and bass, UKG and dubstep it would be perfect. I appreciate all that stuff is hugely popular now and hard to get hold of in good condition and at good price though.
A good collection of vinyl, focusing mainly on funk and electronic. The staff are incredibly friendly. They sell some action figures and graffiti accessories as well. They're a tad expensive though, keep this in mind when shopping here.
Great record shops, lots of records and oldies.
Legendary. Always walk in and out with something. Great place with everything you could ask for in a vinyl shop. Owner is chill and great to talk to. Very friendly welcoming vibe and the tunes spinning are guaranteed to make you feel good inside. Prices are fair and tons of selection in new and used records. Two technics 1200 listening stations and some cool funky old school headphones to set the the scene right. Pre-pandemic, I was coming here nearly every other week and I live 45-60 minutes away. Love this place!
Amazing Records store, tons of selection both New and Used. Staff is friendly and super helpful. There are always getting new stock of used records.
The customer service at this store is top notch! They were so helpful and me acts my daughter were very happy with their selection!! Highly recommend!!
This was a fun record store. The store is huge and has art supplies, cassettes, CDs, and collectible toys in addition to records. Their cataloging was a bit different. There was a large rock selection like many record stores but it was mostly classic rock. Alternative was storedseparately, often under decades post 1970s. They did have a larger hip hop section than many record stores which was nice. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but I am sure that is a result of the location of the store.
Rap-forward selection, but a good selection of other genres as well! Fair prices and great atmosphere.
Great spot to get vinyl records. All kinds of music are available her but I really like the hip hop and other DJ vinyl records. I bought some old rap and battle records here. Friendly staff who will help find something. Their website also has vinyl record stock info
