Friendly staff, close to downtown...We camp here July 1st weekend. Site is clean and close to pool. One thing I didn't like was the amount of noseeums that come out while we were sitting out eating at the picnic table. Would also suggest electrical hookups be clearly marked for each site as we had to have office staff ask the site beside us to unplug from our electrical hookup as they were using 2 of the hookups their own site and one of ours. Staff very accommodating. Stuff may look run down but showed the clear effects of Covid on independently run places.
Thoroughly enjoy spending time at this campground. There is a strong sense of community among neighbours and the nights are quiet. Convenient location to be close to Barrie but far enough away that the city stresses aren’t as obvious. Nice pool, mini put and a really nice park for the kids.
I have been going to Bee Happy Campground for some time and I have always been a happy camper.
Great place to dump your sewer, fair price and they can accommodate A class Gulfstream
The people that run the site are friendly. The site is very old and not well kept with the exception of some permanent sites. The pool is very old but usable. As a temporary, weekend site I definitally would not recommend it especially my pull through site which was only wider than my trailer.
If you want a clean, quiet park, this is it. Big lots for the trailers, 30amp service. So many activities for the kids and the adults. Lots and lots of room and is surrounded by nature and beautiful farmlands. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They do a great job keeping the park and washrooms very clean..we were extremely happy at Bee Happy Campground
We love it here! They always have fun events for the kids. also the people are always so happy and welcoming. We Always have a wonderful time!!
We did not stay. The tent area was flooded and the other rv areas were all bumpy and no good for tenting. We were biking and ended riding another 30 min into Barrie. Site was over $100 cash and the Holiday Inn was $97. The woman clerk behind the desk was very accommodating and tried very hard to make it work.
Nice pool and the sites are mostly govered with grass, good! Most of the campground was not maintained for years! The playground is a joke, almost everything is damaged. The pond is like 20-30cm deep, great for mosquito's but definitely not for fish. But the worst thing are the toilets and showers. After making 3 steps in we immediately got out again.... so dirty! The family recreation hall is a closed building with some tables and chairs. Windows were too dirty to see any details. We had a trip of 4 weeks in the US and Canada and this is the only Campground I can definitely not recommend.
Wonderful experience. Great residents and guests alike. Reza, Diane and Paul are lovely people. The kids had a blast. We'll certainly be returning.
