Bellevue Recreation Center is a decent rec park with a playground, a picnic area, a dog park, a basketball court and some exercise equipment. There is also a short dirt trail around the park. When I visited, the park has some renovation work in progress, and in general the park doesn't look super well maintained. There is a community center with restrooms.
A great place to stay, both with children and without! there are fitness equipment, basketball courts ... there are many places for children to relax, there are barbecue areas. recommend to visit!
Overall decent park with variety of different activity areas - 2 playgrounds one for all kids, other for toddlers, picnic areas, nursery and recreation center on premise and also sectioned baseball/soccer, etc. Parking is very limited and street parking isn't all that great either. Although lots of people including kids and families, did not feel completely safe. Would still go but staying alert is always advisable for any public places these days...
Gorgeous well-maintained park with lots of exercise and sporting options plus picnic tables and restrooms. The forest scenery all around is astonishing in the middle of the city!
Nice hidden gem in the middle of the city. Family place good for picnics, play some basketball, baseball, and kids area is nice. Adequate parking and all this is free for your enjoyment
The park is always fun. Lots of families and people around, everything from outdoor basketball, soccer, workout place, playground, baseball, etc can be found. Grills and tables on site, parking on site. They just added nets again to the hoops, so that's cool :
The path around the soccer and baseball field is great for a walk or run. Has 2 playgrounds 1-5yrs old - 5-12yrs old , a basketball field, restrooms are open till 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends. Has a parking lot but very crowded on weekdays evening and weekends.
Bellevue Park is a favorite place for myself and notice other individuals and including families. Bellevue Park is the place to walk feel the breeze and clear your mind. I going multiple times to let stress go away and relax and go home happy. The owners are friendly. They clean after their pets. It is beautiful seen kids playing been a kid. The ice cream van is a convenient service so I love to support local small business owner. I love how clean and well maintained is the park. It is people are nice that want to exercise and relax perhaps after stressful day.
Beautiful park, with grills, picnic tables, exercise equipment, playground and a track. This park has everything. I grew up playing in this park. I loved it then I love it now.
This is one of the best park in the heart of LA. It's a relatively small park but just enough for picnic tables, playground for children's, trails, and basketball courts. Shaq was playing here 1 week ago. Man that guy can dunk!
