Clean and large store. Poor customer service and ghetto… hate the family dollar style line, hate the fact that 4-5 employees were talking instead of asking if I needed help. When they finally asked… Beats headphones are kept at the customer service/checkout. The girl up there has no clue about product, can’t get information or check out a device before purchase which is the whole point of visiting a store. I drove 30 mins to come to a store to not be helped and leave empty handed. Not the Best Buy experience I was looking forward to at all. I’ve been a long time $$$ customer for years. Great Best Buy location, very well stocked and staffed. Great selection of PC parts to choose from with decent prices. The only odd thing was the store smelled very strongly of ammonia, so strong it was hard to be around.
I love this Best Buy, everything is usually in stock, staff is very helpful and friendly. The store itself is very large and clean. I enjoyed my last trip there.
I went into this location to purchase the My Best Buy Total membership, and take care of a Geek Squad related warranty on a recent purchase. I spoke to one of the managers, Rodrigo. He assured me that he could help me and showed me many of the benefits of the plan and how it could benefit me, and actually save me money over time. Rodrigo was unable to apply my warranty on the same day as the membership was not showing up yet. He stated he had my information and would take care of it and that I would receive an email notification once the process was complete. This was a Monday. Tuesday went by, no email. Wednesday came by, and I was beginning to think Rodrigo did not keep his promise of taking care of my issue. By the afternoon, though, I did receive an email confirmation that he had finished resolving my concern. I am extremely appreciative that he not only kept his word, but he was apparently checking daily to see my membership status so that he could help me with my warranty. I am very impressed by the integrity and customer service of Rodrigo and this store. I don't always expect such high level customer service in a big box retail store, and I am thoroughly impressed with the service I have received here.
Nice staff, one person checked me out while also helping another customer on the phone, multitasking. Impressive! Also they have lovely artwork on the parking lot light poles!
Big Best Buy store with newly modeled floor plan. Plenty of gadgets to try out and hands-on experience before you buy and make your mind. You will also find mostly all the newly launched products here to try. The staff is very helping nature. The Magnolia setup at the end of the store with many more studios are great too. you can enter any studio with staff, they will be happy to assist you and give demo with good explanation. The staff was well educated of what he was showing us.
Huge shout out to Andrew in the TV section for fantastic customer service as well as an excellent sales person. He really knows his stuff! highly suggest anyone who needs help finding the right TV talk to him. Also even huger applause for taking the time to help us find the best way to mount or TV Thanks Andrew we will definitely be back again!
So, 6 weeks ago I had to buy a new laptop. They seemed a bit short handed. The first staffer I found turned out to be the store mgr. He was great. He connected me with a salesman who was also very good; patiently answering all my dumb questions. Why then only 2 stars? He then turned me over to the Geek Squad GS guy to handle some things Re. setup. The GS guy was helpful, gave me his card, and told me to call if I had any issues once I got home. I did. I had 2 major show-stopping issues I couldn’t figure out. So just 2 hours after leaving the store I called back. Got VM and left a message for the GS guy. Crickets… 2 hours later I called again. More Crickets… 2 hrs later, now evening, I sent a detailed email directly to the GS guy’s GS email. That was 6 SIX WEEKS ago and I am still waiting for the professional courtesy of a call back! A day or two later a friend who works in I.T. came over and fixed my two issues in 5 minutes. Would have been a quick win for GS. Instead Geek Squad and Best Buy Novi snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by their unprofessional behavior.
I purchased a new Motorola phone. It wasn't good. That's another story. The service I received was good. The reason for my 2 stars is because, I returned the phone the same day I got it. I was charged a $45 "restocking" fee. So, they'll offer the phone I returned as an "open box" for a little less than I paid "$500" and receive my "$45". I get it it's business. But, I could have gotten the same phone from Amazon and returned it for a full refund. I'll think twice before shopping at Best Buy again.
I have a unique challenge finding an easy messaging system for a 90 year old deaf man who has never used tech. David spent a fair amount of time coming up with some good options for me...now we need to figure out which to use. This is why bruck and mortar places like Best Buy need to exist. There is no way I could get the info I needed online in such quick fashion.
