Apparently it doesn’t matter if you sleep tight: the bed bugs will still bite. I spent three nights at this hotel and couldn’t be more excited to leave this place. The entire hotel was very dingy, water spots everywhere, bathtubs wouldn’t drain properly, but worst of all: bed bugs. Having only spent a few hours in my room the first night, I awoke the next morning not really noticing anything immediately wrong except a few bug bites. I wrote it off as possibly ants I might have gotten into the previous day. It wasn’t until my second evening in the hotel that I pulled the sheets back and noticed a significant grouping of bed bugs. The hotel was booked for the evening, so they couldn’t do anything about changing my rooms, but they offered to change my sheets to try to solve the problem. I was unable to change rooms until the next morning around 11:00 am due to them not having a clean room ready for me to move into. Upon asking the hotel to pay for my laundry to hopefully kill any residual bed begs, I was told I could use the guest laundry at my own expense. After pushing the issue, I was told, “I can give you four quarters.” The guest drier cost $1.50. What a joke. The manager did eventually allow me to put my clothes in a bag and use the hotel’s drier at no cost. There is no way I could recommend this hotel to anyone.
Not sure where to even start at with this hotel. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The second floor has a nasty misty smell. There are fans and humidifiers in the hallways. During the day they open the side door to try and get that misty smell out of there. Our room’s ceiling was full of water spots see pictures, so I am guessing mold is a concern. My daughter complained of having a headache when she woke up the next am. There are even water spots in some of the rooms on the first floor. Yet, they have the audacity to charge an extra $100 for possible “damages.” I have attached a picture of the “menu” for their breakfast. Hope you like rubbery eggs and very odd looking sausage links/patties. Waffles were safe to eat, I think. I would recommend going out for breakfast. The pool is okay, but the hot tub is closed and no signs of it opening anytime soon. I have service an 2 star because the worker turned the pool lights on after my daughter and I were in there for about an hour. Just shows how much the pool gets used. All in all, this place has gone downhill in the last couple of months and years. I would guess new management. I would stay away from it, just for the fact there are health concerns. Have seen some reviews of bed bugs being a concern, would not surprise me one bit. Pay a bit extra and find a safer, healthier and cleaner hotel. I believe Best Western Hotels & Resorts should consider closing this hotel. I also think the Health Department should take a visit there. I wish I could give the hotel a 0 star. Stay away.
This hotel was actually pretty amazing! It’s rating is very accurate and based on that, I can only give an extremely positive review. My room was so big, as was the bed. It was comfortable, the fridge was great, and it was perfect for a working visit. I stayed Monday-Saturday. Breakfast was nice - although slightly repetitive - it was good quality and exactly as if not better than i expected. Really, pleasantly surprised!
Excellent customer service, a clean and quiet room. Air conditioning unit is epically loud but you can open the windows and traffic is minimal. Don't listen to the crabby reviewers.Rooms: 4/5
The hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The pool is decent sized and gets cleaned often. Seems at least 1x a week. The staff is also incredibly nice and understanding. The rooms are also cleaned very well. They all have their own microwave, tv, minifridge, and AC unit. The walls seem to be good at blocking out noise from the other units as well.
Wow I used to work at this place years ago it was a nice place I stopped today and it’s a total train wreck. Weeds growing up all over place, inside is no better than the outside. Go next door to the Comfort Inn that is a much better place. I stayed there the rooms are beautiful clean and well cared for they have an elevator, great breakfast, friendly staff. What is really sad is the hotel commented on my review and all they said was thanks for staying with us when clearly I stated I stayed next door at Comfort Inn which is much better they do not even care enough to read comments that is a real lack of caring and terrible management
Great Customer Service. Staff greeted us promptly upon arrival. Staff member gave us a 1st floor room to make travel easier with our infant daughter. Large room, comfortable beds, clean. Staff made sure guests had breakfast items that were fresh all morning, he wore gloves while replacing food items, and cleaned all tables.
Do NOT stay at this dump!!!! The room smells like mold and is dirty, the hot tub is out of order and the pool looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The customer service is extremely poor at best. I gave it a one star but it doesn’t even deserve that. The comfort Inn next door is literally half the price and WAY nicer. If you want to have a horrible stay then this is the place for you. Don’t spend money on this joke of a hotel
I recently stayed at this hotel and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Upon checking into my room, I discovered bed bugs crawling on the bed. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, they were extremely rude and refused to issue a refund or move me to a different room. The lack of concern for my safety and wellbeing was unacceptable. I even took pictures of the bed bugs as proof, but the hotel management refused to take any responsibility. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel and caution anyone who values their health and safety to look elsewhere.
