The restaurants.are NOT on site. You have to walk to them at different locations. Not on location. They closed at 9 pm on a Saturday so we had to drive elsewhere anyway. Carpets are FILTHY DISGUSTING throughout the building. Pretty sure several have ODd in this building as well. There are bugs on the carpet and God only knows where else. Our friends checked in and demanded a refund due to bugs all over their room, and then left for a Hilton, understandably. Quite sad. Fun night ruined. Never again. Breakfast: nil. Cold eggs that you heat up in the microwave, minimal coffee, gross and NOT breakfast. Their google ad said they had a bar/ lounge on grounds and it was perfect to have a birthday party and not drive; however the bar is in the restaurant next door and it closed at 9. I complained about this and this morning, the Google ad has been changed to remove the bar amenity including two restaurants. Do NOT stay here unless you just want to get high in the hallway.
We booked a room for 4 nights. Check in went smoothly or so we thought, until returning to the room after being gone on day two. Apparently we were only checked in for 1 night and our possessions were removed from the room. We were then checked in for the next 3 nights and our things were returned, we were comped 1 night. The only good thing I have to say is that the beds were comfortable. Our room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there and wasn't very clean when we got there. There were no clean towels provided after day one. The microwave and the mini refrigerator were dirty and there was no house phone to call the desk. It looks like they are undergoing renovations but that has nothing to do with cleanliness. If you were only wanting a place to sleep for a few hours it would suffice, but I wouldn't recommend a long term stay. Yes, the rates were cheap, you get what you pay for, I wish I would have read the reviews!
I booked online and it was dark when I got there. If I had seen it in daylight I probably wouldn't have stayed there. If you're just looking for a room to sleep a few hours this is an okay hotel at a decent price point. There wasn't anything wrong with my room and the bed was comfortable. But you'll see signs of disrepair throughout the hotel. Some of the corridors look really, really bad where they've removed the floor trim and are in the process of renovating I guess. However I didn't see any signs of renovating only where they've removed trim. Clerk told me they would be totally renovated in a year. I wouldn't go back until it's renovated. The main problem I had was I was back by entrance B they call it. There was a car and a pickup with their lights on that just sat in the parking lot for a long time with their motor running. I thought it was quite odd and reported it to the front desk. It just made me a little uncomfortable as I was traveling by myself. Couldn't figure out why someone would sit in a car with the motor running if they have a hotel room.
Absolutely horrible experience. We have stayed here before in prior years with no issues- it used to be a solid hotel. However, my husband had to fly up for his mother's funeral. In our grief, we booked the wrong night. Instead of understanding this simple error and changing the reservation to the correct night, the older male refused and made my husband pay for an additional night. The hotel itself is in horrible disrepair. The room was not in good shape, the bed sank in the middle with mismatched sheets. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!
Stop!! Do not stay at this hotel. After booking the room, we called the hotel to ask for a late checkout. We were told that it wasn't a problem. However, when we arrived to check in we were told it wasn't possible. The room key only worked on the door to enter the hotel but not our hotel room. Once we entered the stairway from the parking lot we immediately smelled the moisture and mold throughout the hotel. Both the stairway and the hallways smelled like there had been some water damage. The hotel must of been aware of the issue because the doors to the stairway were propped open, which is a fire hazard. The front desk staff was very rude. After they couldn't find another room available, they asked if we even needed a room key. They could open the hotel room with a master key. We said yes we needed a room key which seemed to irritate the employee. He had to reprogram the door to get our room key to finally work. Once we finally got into our room, we found it extremely dirty. The bathroom was dirty and had bugs. Their were stains on the chair and floor. The inside of the microwave had food splattered everywhere. The sheets and pillow cases were dirty. The head board of the beds were very dusty. It was absolutely disgusting. Within a couple minutes, I decided to checkout of the hotel. The front desk refused to give me a refund.
Just went to check in yes my wife did not read the reviews. They sold our room after booking it. They did offer to upgrade 2x so there's a plus. The place looks to need a big time remodel. The gal at the front was new so I won't blame her. Manager came down asap and straightened everything out. Hope they turn it around.Rooms: 1/5
It is a very calm and quiet environment. Breakfast is provided every morning from 6am-9am. The rooms are clean and stocked with towels, toilet paper, soaps, shampoos. They also have Wi-Fi that I was able to connect to quickly with no trouble. Ron in the front desk was very helpful when extended our stay and helping us out with extra supplies. Rooms: Are clean and nice. Completely stocked. Safety: It is a very clam and quiet environment and area. No bad or negative activity. Food & drinks: Breakfast is provided every morning between 6am-9am and they have various selection of meals.
Absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms were not clean. It was clear they had not been cleaned between guests… several guests. Dust and hair build up on floors in the corners and along the walls. The toilet had hair and dust on the tank and around the base. Clumps of mold on the shower curtain came loose and floated in the 6 inches of water that wouldn’t drain. Hair and dust from previous guests were in the tub and on the counter. The carpets were caked with years of grime, and hadn’t even been vacuumed! Absolutely disgusting.
This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The first floor smelled horrible like there was a plumbing issue. The tubs in the rooms were dirty with soap scum around the edges so we couldn’t even give the kids a bath. The breakfast was so bad we walked across the parking lot to McDonalds. The pool was also closed the whole time and we were not given a notification when we booked or called the same day. I will never stay at this hotel again.
Currently staying here, contemplating leaving and staying somewhere else tonight. The cost is way too high for what you get. The room itself was not too bad, the bathroom was dirty but the rest of the room was fine. The overpowering smell of cigarettes outside of the rooms was terrible. The pool area was closed. I wasn't sure what to rate the service because there wasn't any. But the breakfast was the WORST. Cold food that you had to microwave yourself, in a microwave that blows a fuse everytime its used, not that it matters, we couldn't eat anything because there were ants all over everything, including in the food. I cannot believe Wyndham puts their name in this "hotel".
