Phenomenal location at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Right in between The Venetian & Harrah’s lies this humble abode that the majority would miss. Other than location, I choose this hotel due to not having any or at least having very few mention of bedbugs or cockroaches or other insects but still was located on the Las Vegas Strip. This is also one of the only hotels on the strip that doesn’t charge a daily resort charge. We also were able to check in early without a fee! We even were able to pay the entire bill upon arrival. A lot of these things are unheard of for Las Vegas Strip hotels. I’m glad I choose the Best Western, especially knowing that there were no bites or bugs of any sort. Cleanliness must be praised here. The beds here though are very hard and your walls are thin, but for the price and security of not having bugs these are totally acceptable. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend this place based on cleanliness and price.
This is an excellent place to stay right on the strip. The location is central and has lots of casinos and good restaurants and fast food options within walking distance. The front desk staff and housekeeping were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The price is affordable compared to other similar options. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again in the future.
What a gem in Las Vegas. For the value, this place is so wonderful. The location is amazing and on the strip, conveniently located by the Venetian. It is an older hotel and not a posh resort. But I just want a solid hotel with a clean room and bathroom. I don't have to walk so far to the parking and front door and there is no resort fee, all of which I dislike about the big fancy resorts. And parking is free and easy to get in and out of. The front desk staff is so friendly, helpful and quick. Quick check-in process and very personable. The staff caught a glitch in my reservation and called me to clarify. They have great attention to detail. I would stay here again when I come to Las Vegas. Thank you for making the stay so personable in a such a big city.
We passed thru this casino on our last day and I wish I would've went in sooner. It's small and not super fancy but there are a lot of slots, new, fun ones. Gaming tables and several fast food restaurant options. It gives old school Vegas vibes which is cool. Nearby activities: Right across from the Venetian and Palazzo, across from Harrah's and nt far from Ceasars Palace in the heart of the action. Walkability: Very close to lots of casinos, Mirage, Venetian, etc. Food & drinks: Subway, $3.99 footlong hot dogs and one other fast food option onsite.
Fantastic value and location. Nowhere else right on the strip has free guest parking AND no resort fees! It’s not a resort so don’t expect room service or anything like that but you’re definitely missing out if you’ve not stayed there. We were upgraded at check-in to one of the one bedroom suites. We had a great view of the waterfalls at the Mirage and it was easy to pop out front to watch the volcano show from in front of the casino without having to cross traffic. The front desk staff was so so nice and very friendly and you just felt like you were welcomed which does not always happen at strip hotels. The price may “seem” a little higher than other strip hotels, but again, you’re saving at least $50-100 a day compared to other properties because you’re not paying $40-60 for a daily resort fee, nor are you paying $25+ per day for parking if you have a vehicle here. And remember it’s a BW and they do status match to other hotel programs! So you can earn even more points and perks on your stays with that match! Rooms: Excellent! They’re not a five star hotel so don’t expect some high end bathrobe and loads of amenities. But the rooms are very clean, the bed is super comfortable, and the hotel is secure from the casino so safety was never once a concern between the room and downstairs when traveling solo or with kids/family. The bathroom also had excellent water pressure, which is worth its weight in gold! And the bathtub is good sized for relaxing after a long day or throwing your kids in there to scrub them down before bed. Nearby activities: Mirage volcano show, the shops at the Venetian, Donnt Osmond next door at Harrah’s Walkability: Right on the strip between the Venetian and Harrah’s so there’s tons to do!
While we did not have the greatest check-in experience, the rooms were clean and the location is unbeatable. You can go to Walgreens or Denny's without even leaving the building. Parking was free and secure, no resort fee, and super quick walk to get to our room! None of that Vegas Vacation, paragraph long directions to get to your room stuff here. No breakfast, but we did get a decent coupon for Denny's next door. Walkability: We walked everywhere while there. LOTS of shopping, food, and shows nearby.
We did not stay at the hotel so this review is purely about the casino experience... The only issue I had with Casino Royale is that their claim of $20 on us is somewhat misleading. They do give you $20 of free play once you have spent $20 but what they don’t tell you is that it expires 24 hours after you earn it. I earned my free $20 on 8/15 and by 8/17, there was nothing of it left when I should have had $10. While it probably wouldn’t have prevented me from signing up, it would have been nice to know up front. I would have made it a point to come back within 24 hours to use their money. When we did have questions about something, Eddie, was very nice, helpful and informative except for not telling us about the 24 hour expiration date.
This is our go-to hotel if we are not staying at one of our resorts! You almost just can't beat the location! We really don't gamble much, but when and if we do...this is our casino to do it! Service was awesome as usual! Finally, the pool was open and available. Enjoyed our time here! Pool area is surrounded by beautiful views of the surrounding resorts and palm trees all around...quiet, private, and peaceful! Nearby activities: You are in the center of the strip! On the right side: you can walk to the Venetian just a few steps away and the Walgreens is even closer for any travel necessities! On the left: Chipotle, Panda Express, The Harrah's, Flamingo, and the Linq with all it's stores. And the Mirage and Volcano/Fire show is just across the street! Walkability: You are in the center of the strip! On the right side: you can walk to the Venetian just a few steps away and the Walgreens is even closer for any travel necessities! I didn't stay at Casino Royale but wanted to go there on both a friend's recommendation and also on the advice of some Las Vegas YouTube videos. The Casino Royale is a 'dive bar casino, ' by this, I mean it is a place you can go to gamble without paying for the frills of most of the big Vegas hotel/casinos. The bar is cheap and so are the eats; you can get a footlong beef hot dog for $3.49 and a personal 9" pepperoni pizza for less than $10. I wouldn't be surprised if the odds of winning on the slots weren't better too. If you want a down to earth affordable place to go on the Strip. Try Casino Royale.
Requested the first floor weeks in advance because I can't climb stairs. The only thing they had for me was the 3rd floor. The only elevator was broken down and they never repaid it. So with my wife's help, I did the stairs. I cannot tell you how hard that was for both of us. And it was exhausting too. The hotel advertised "no hotel fee" and we booked at $86 per night through Expedia. When the bill came it was $117 per night. It is impossible to explain how incredibly horrible the traffic is while they closed road after road to repave for the Formula 1 race in November. Rooms: Average for a budget hotel. Nothing to recommend it Safety: Dangerously unsafe with only outside staircases in 111° Temps while the only inside elevator remains broken Walkability: Very well located mid strip.
