Went there for Benny's Smokin BBQ and Brews. Had 1/2 chicken- delicious. Cornbread kinda hard, but tasted good. Just added extra butter. Slaw, beans, corn, damn good. Chicken w/BBQ sauce already added, very good. Wasn't too sweet which I am not a fan of. Breast was a bit dry, added the spicy BBQ sauce, problem solved. Brews were lacking in selection, but wasn't why I went. Decent prices for sure. 10/10 will be back to try the ribs. Walkability: Stay in Fremont District, definitely walkable and worth a visit.
This hotel is not the cleanest or the safest however it has some great photo opportunities The rooms are a good size but the bathrooms are extremely small Elevators are extremely slow Conference facility which I have just spent a week and I found really well lit and not smoky there are a couple of cafes and restaurants throughout the casino Service with reservations needs huge improvement as a number of our party had to come back multiple times for their room check-in as nothing was ready even though they had two months notice of the booking Not exactly what you want after a long flight a five hour wait for your room especially as it was after 3 pm currently did not have a resort fee when I was there which is a huge bonus located right on Fremont Street fantastic location most of the rooms you can hear noise at night so if you need a quiet room make sure you book the far side of the hotel Wheelchair accessibility is user-friendly however doors are not automatic when entering the hotel also quite smoky within the casino so not quite ideal if you asthma My colleagues room smelt like a sewer and Management did nothing to resolve this or offer to move after highlighting the issue
Can't say this is the cleanest, safest, or best casino to visit, but something about it just keeps me coming back. It's very small and smoky casino, but their slots are loose and their drinks are strong. Their cafe also has some amazing steak and eggs and the workers are usually all very nice. Extra bonus is the hawaiian fishing game, which is super fun with a group of people. The parking situation isn't bad, but I wouldn't leave valuables or park in a dark corner at night. Its also free if you play enough maybe $25 then you can get your parking validated by guest services. Safety: Be aware of your surroundings and obviously don't leave valuables in the car. Should be common sense, but ‍
Week long trip was good. Opens on Fremont Street and sitting up at revolving bar is resfreshing. The Pizza is very tasty to munch while having a drink and watching the freakshow below. Walkability: Fremont Street has many choices.
This casino is definitely old and definitely need some work. We usually park here when I’m going to Fremont but don’t gamble. I have luck here but it is cool seeing this old gambling hall it definitely feels historic.
I wish with all the beautiful upgrades downtown they could get rid of the old crouchety pit boss/dealer/bartender/wait staff. Don’t get me wrong, the old ladies/gentleman that are amazing should stay but there are some entitled a holes that need to go
Just went down for a little bit of business I had there and I enjoy gambling with my girl so much I wanted to show her Binion's since she's never been there. Plus the casino had one of my favorite slots. I had a good time and we both enjoyed the time there.Location: 4/5
I didn't stay in the hotel just ate at there Binions restaurant. Had breakfast it's was a good sit down and a have good breakfast kinda of place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Gave me the Old Vegas welcome loved it Food & drinks: Breakfast was great highly recommend
I was traveling alone, and the Hotel Apache Standard room was ideal for my 4 night stay. Room was basic, very clean, my queen bed quite comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked. The room was very quite. At my rate, it didn't include daily maid service. Extra towels were by request. Not being a particularly messy person, I didn't need more than the 4 bath towels provided and fortunately knew how to make my own bed The only thing I would have liked was an in room coffee maker, and a couple of easy to access wall plugs. Would definitely stay again. The Casino was friendly, and the food choices numerous.
Horseshoe -formerly Bally's: If you want the best of everything but also not break the bank, come here. The room was clean as far as hotels tend to be. I did a thorough bed bug check- clean and zero signs of bugs. The compliment of towels above and beyond. The air scrubbers keep the lobby and halls pretty breathable if you're sensitive to smoke you'll enjoy that. People give this place an unwarranted bad rap. Yes, it's older. It's kind of part of it's charm. The staff is above par. The front desk was kind and helpful Thank you Don. The location is perfect. You get access to light rail and the tram from Bellagio to MGM Park is a quick walk across the land bridge. There's a CVS and food stands right outside. This was a win for my pocketbook and access to everything close by. Walkability: you're in the middle of all the hotels and by the rail transport
