Bex Cafe & Juice Bar

A very nice smoothie place in SC! I love how they have a healthy shop in downtown greenville! I also like the fact that they have a nice patio outside, where guests can sit down and enjoy the beautiful view.Food: 5/5

My first visit and I’m not sure what took me so long…fantastic food and drinks, in a quaint setting in downtown Greenville. My coffee drink was delicious…I believe it was called the Stevie Nicks a few Fleetwood Mac references on the menu. And the vegetarian bagel sandwich was also very good. Plenty of seating options inside and out on the front patio; I enjoyed the comfy couch. Free Wi-Fi too. I’ll definitely be back!

No thanks! Waited like 15 min for my COLD bacon egg and cheese to be brought out to me. It's so annoying to pay like $6+ for an egg sandwhich that is just microwaved egg anyway. Maybe their drinks are good, not sure....

Service 5/5 Great staff BLT 5/5 A BLT is such a simple sandwich, but it’s easy to mess up and hard to make stunning. This BLT was absolutely stunning, warm, crispy bread, fresh lettuce, a thick slice of flavorful tomato and a generous portion of crispy bacon sitting on a bed of fresh green lettuce. Coffee 1/5 this is where the complaints begin. We ordered a frozen Mexican white mocha and a iced chocolate mocha. The white mocha was chunky and seemed to be half cold coffee and half frozen. Despite cinnamon being listed as a main ingredient i the drink, I tasted no cinnamon and very little white chocolate. The chocolate mocha had a great coffee flavor to it and was very bold, but there was little to chocolate taste or flavor. Such a shame really.

I first tried Bex a few times in 2021 after moving to Greenville and each time had to wait in line for over 30 minutes - gave up on Bex for awhile after that and decided to try again this week. It's been over a year since my last visit and Bex is still having same service issues - I totally understand being short-staffed, but the problem is that staff does not acknowledge you at all while you're waiting. I was the first one in line and stood there for 10+ minutes while various staff members walked by without even saying 'be right with you' or 'sorry about the wait.' I appreciate their vegetarian and vegan options, but it's not worth the wait and feeling like they don't care whether you're there or not.

Bex is my new place to stop before work. I had the Sunrise Juice-Alpine Berry Tea, pineapple and Strawberry. Very refreshing juice for a hot day in Downtown GVille. The atmosphere is cozy and I have already found what I will be tasting next.Food: 5/5

Definitely a must try! The food & drinks are really good, the atmosphere is trendy but casual & it was quiet, which I love in the morning. I’ll be coming back here for breakfast next time I’m there. Dietary restrictions: The staff was knowledgeable about what had what in it. You just got to ask. They also are vegan friendly.

Staff is super rude… they eye roll and huff if you ask them a question. The mousy barista with the bowl haircut will creep to the kitchen to talk about you in earshot. Also, expect anywhere from 15 mins to 45 mins for a simple food order like a bagel so definitely only get the coffee.Food: 1/5

Came for a late lunch on a rainy day. Ambiance is quiet and relaxing and not uptight as some other places. We tried the Impractical Nut Smoothie which had espresso, milk, banana, pb, and cacao and the Unconventional which was blueberries, banana, pb, and chocolate whey. Also had the Bex sandwich, bacon egg and Swiss on blueberry bagel, and the Zeppelin, with turkey, sausage, egg and cheese on everything. The food and drinks were really unique and delicious and very filling. Awesome bagels and great flavor combinations too. Guy at counter was very courteous and welcoming. Will surely be back in this niche side of town.
