The staff are very friendly and attentive I found the store to be very clean. I noticed the theft prevention strip lifting notified am employee and right away she informed the manager on duty.
Not too crowded, great grocery items,furniture, decorations for any occasion, great deal and prices...but the employees need to interact with the customers, too quiet. Customer service is the key, I love that store it's an easy 5 stars if the customer service is great.
Stopped by for the end of the season sale. Alicia was super helpful and very friendly. I really appreciated her hospitality.
Went to this location to buy two sofas that were on sale. The ones we wanted were out of stock, understandable, but the worker that helped us in the furniture department could not give us a straight answer or really help us out. He just wanted to sell us the disgusting floor models. Seems like he was too busy to order us a new set, or locate some for us from a different location. My wife and I had to do our own research . Will not be coming back to this location. I ended up buying them at the Manteca location they were friendly and helpful....
This is a nice place to spend your valuable money on some Starbucks coffee,some snacks like hohos,and some decent quality blu-ray movies to go with your snacks during movie night. I do not live very far from this Big Lots and whenever I go,it is mainly for some Starbucks coffee beverages of any kind. Any blu-ray and DVD movies I have just purchased that do not have a good interactive menu screen,I now have to remember to keep the receipt to return the disc movie for lacking a menu screen with motion to it,not so good bonus features not worth my attention,and no bonus features behind the movie production. Overall it is still a really nice place if you want to check out the snacks and movies,the place brings a lot of memories now that I'm older I know what place to go to get presents for my friends. REMINDER: If buying a DVD/blu-ray movie,keep the receipt in case you want to return it. QUOTE: What gave you memories as a kid,now you make new as a grown up.
I don't know the store seems to be organized wrong. Hard to find things or see with the way the shelves or placed in the store.
The store closed that's closest to me, but I don't mind going to midtown sometimes. They had good sales going on. There was plenty of merchandise on the shelves, and easy relaxed shopping at 11:30 am on a Saturday. The only thing was homeless had stolen all but 6 of the shopping Cart. That's a shame! It's the time we like... However, I hope the store remains in the neighborhood. Great neighborhood store!

This location Needs more floor space. Feels congested. Needs cleaning and updating. Customer Service was bland my previous visit but actually was better this visit. Parking needs to be refaced. Not the safest area so beware of your surroundings when visiting this location.
Was very clean and well stocked. Aisles are VERY narrow, don't seem ADA compliant. Other than that they had everything I was looking for and were very helpful. Cherry on top was there was no line
