McCaulou’s Department Store is a one stop shopping experience with clothing for men, women, children, and infants, shoes, toys, fragrances, and more!
Located in the former Campbell’s location, McCaulou’s Department Store is a one stop shopping experience. Not only does this store have an extensive selection of clothing for men, women, children, and infants, but they also carry shoes, toys, fragrances, and cosmetics. An added incentive for those doing their holiday shopping at McCaulou’s is their gift wrapping services, which is free with every purchase of $15 or more.
“Our spectrum of coverage is broad,” said Dave McCaulou, founder of the family operated store, which has twenty one other locations throughout Northern California.
The clothing selection features day wear and sleep wear, in a variety of well known brands, including the beloved Tommy Bahama. Columbia, Nike, and Life is Good clothing is carried throughout the store, and you can also find attire featuring Northern California’s favorite athletic teams.
Just a few of the other brands that can be found in the men’s section are Nautica, Volcom, Levi’s, and Woolrich. DKNY and Anne Klein are carried in the women’s sleepwear and lingerie sections, and for everyday clothes, brands such as Roxy, Billabong, and Free People round out the section for women. Many of those same brands can be found in the children’s clothing sections, too. As for shoes, everything from classics such as Converse and Tom’s are in stock, as well as Lucky Brand. And there aren’t just shoes for adults and children- they also carry infant shoes. Pendleton’s popular beach towels are also in supply, as well as Jansport backpacks.
While Dave opened the first McCaulou’s store in 1963, he got his start in the department store business by working at F.W. Woolworth’s at age twelve. His team is also as well established as he is. Most of his management team has been with the company for over twenty years, some even longer than that. His son, daughter, and granddaughter are also involved with the stores.
“We look forward to serving this community,” said Dave. “Lincoln Center has a unique atmosphere to it. When we saw that, we thought we could be a perfect fit.”
