Big Shot Bob's House of Wings - Wheeling, WV

Little slice of the 'Burgh in Wheeling. Wings were good and so was the Jimmy DeTillo. Prices were on the upper end for the area, but food was good. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a Pittsburgh bar and restaurant. Being from The Steel City, I would know. No real complaints here!

Ordered delivery. Arrived before promised time and was amazing. Big Shot Burger and a small fry. Enough for 2 people. 1/2 pound burger, giant thick sliced bacon and many other toppings. Worth the price for sure.

Very good chicken wings! The kids meal cheeseburger is perfect. One of the best views from a restaurant deck in Wheeling. We love eating here and plan on returning often.

Service was great and the food is always tasty. Your food is made to order so always fresh. I always get my wings a little more well done with sauces on the side. All of the sandwiches I have had are really good. The only reason for the 4 stars is the pricing is high. For 2 sandwiches and bacon cheese fries it was over $34. But, I will continue to eat here.

3rd time ordering wings here. Twice I got regular wings and once boneless. Just the regular hot wings are good, but I tried 2 other flavors and was not impressed. There was so much sauce and blue cheese piled on that I couldn’t even review the actual wings. After about 3 wings I had to stop because the sauce was just overwhelming and heavy. Plus I ordered 13, because you can only order 6, 13, or 50.. what is that? But only got 10

I have to be honest. The wings I ordered were some of the tastiest I've ever had. The medium sauced garlic parmesan were crisp and flavorful. However, the wings are small and vastly overpriced. Drinks are also on the expensive side. It's a nice, casual place with very slow service.

Great chicken wings. The sauce is very thick and they have dozens of unique flavors—we had the original hot sauce and a garlic parmesan flavor and both were very good. The hoagies are very big and packed full and tasted great also. Hope I eat it again soon!

Very disappointed! Poor food quality. Way too many flavors to choose from. If they would cut choices in half then focus on flavor. This is a cash only place. Who doesn't take credit and debit cards. We got cans of Pepsi and beer. What! No bottles? Who doesn't serve bottles. Wings were dry and over cooked. I added a signature sauce to try something different. Blah, too much salt and little flavor. Listen to this...fries with cheese was ordered. We got a little plastic cup of naco cheese sauce straight from can. Yuk. Don't waste your time here people. The restaurant was also dirty. The bathroom was totally disgusting.

Terrible. They weren't busy but still took almost 10 minutes after we ordered our drinks to get them. Our fries came out first then the burgers 10 minutes later then the wings another 8 minutes after and it was all ordered at the same time. We had to track down the waitress for thr check or I would still be waiting for it. My burger was ordered plain but had raw onion under my bun nothing worse eating a burger that smells like onion. Needless to say I won't be back

Wings are expensive but delicious. They always seem to have a drink of the day that is fine and worth a couple bucks. I am an addict who will probly go in once every other week. I ordered a pick up and the wings were lacking sauce... When I ordered in the wings were drenched. So I went back and ordered in and one set of wings was dry and the other had an ok amount of sauce. I really hate inconsistency when it comes to food. Will be back in a few months to see if its any better.
