The BDPC has found a safe place for Billerica dogs to run and play ... and now it's time to fund its construction! Would YOU like to be part of the fun?
There are 2200 registered dogs in Billerica. Where do YOU go with YOUR pet in Billerica? Are you a dog owner? Do you feel there is a need for a dog park? Are you impacted by dogs locally? We want to hear from you.
In February 2010, The Billerica Dog Park Committee was formed as a subcommittee of the Billerica Recreation Commission. Our task is to research and obtain additional information about establishing a fun and safe place for dogs to exercise and socialize. Our group is comprised of resident pet owners, local pet business owners and local media.
Without you, it won't happen. We have been taking survey responses since the Spring of 2010. As of March 2011, we have just under 200 responses, but many more are needed to find out if a Dog Park is a viable proposal. Please click the link below to voice your thoughts.
