Wear your hiking boots! Beautiful shady trails and a nice amount of elevation for a fun hike and great exercise. Thousands of berries in parts of the trail too. You might run into people that take their horses as well.Recommended activitiesWalking, HikingParking spaceSomewhat difficult to find parkingParking optionsFree parking lot
Bunch of random trails trailing off into random places. Not a commercialized park by any means. No official parking lot, just a gravel road with space at the end. No restrooms either. The driveway veering off to the left leads to a horse-friendly cul-de-sac. Worth checking out if you like nature.
Birmingham Park is definitely a well hidden secret. When I went on a Friday, there were not many crowds. Also, the park is very clean. The park does not have a paved parking lot. However, you can either park in the gravel cul de sac or the grass, if necessary. The park consists of several Trailheads. The Trails go through clearings, the forest and run adjacent to Little River. I would highly recommend this park if you are looking for a place that is not too crowded and scenic.
I love this rustic park with winding trails. Many hazards and not for the nimble . Old growth trees and old farm pastures. Lots of beauty.
Love it here!! It’s so beautiful. Tip: go up to the parking spots for horse trailers and there’s a beautiful trail starting there
Wonderful place for photography. Excellent barn like structure and open field. The barn structure has suffered some from recent storms. Part. Of the roof has been blown off. Otherwise a great location for pictures.Recommended activitiesWalking
Really pleasant walk through the woods - it can get a bit busy so if you're for a quieter get away avoid typical busy times. Great for dog walking, some up and downhill nothing too major, not paved or graveled but footpaths are quite clear.
What a beautiful hidden gem in Milton. Rustic park with no facilities and no paved parking. Great for a peaceful and shaded hike with the kids, horse or your four legged friends. Trails are easy/moderate difficulty and well maintained. They are sometimes confusing due to overlapping crossings so keep a copy of the park map handy.
This is a decent replacement for Kennesaw Mountain Park if you do not want to travel that far.
Came to ride the horse trails. Loads of trails, nice and shaded in the woods, easy to get to. Loved it!
