Blue Mesa

I can’t speak too much to the service because we arrived after our table was already seated, but the interactions I did have were pleasant. They give a combination of complimentary tortilla chips and sweet potato chips served with two salsas. I must say this was the most satisfying part of the meal. I thought both salsas were well done and full of flavor! Once we ordered the food it wasn’t long before it came out. However, other than the rice, I was not very impressed with the food. I got the corn crusted chicken tender taco and pulled pork taco which was extremely oily. My boyfriend got the Chile relleno-enchilada combo. He too thought the rice and beans were the best part of the dish. Not itching to go back… but they did have some good sounding drinks on their menu that might be worth trying at some point!

Perfect spot to host an event especially at brunch hour. We hosted my sisters baby shower and had the most attentive server taking care of us and made sure our whole group was taken care of. Johneshia & Diana made sure we had everything we needed leading up to event and couldn’t have been more kind. Would definitely host another event if the occasion arises!

The food was outstanding and we were taken care of by our server Elvira and excellent manager Frank. My friend Cheryl has known Frank for years and he has always provided superior customer service. Highly recommend Blue Mesa Grill.Food: 5/5

We were invited for brunch by Our Son and Daughter-in-law and this is where we went. I hadn't been to a Blue Mesa brunch since the '90's and I loved it then. Well let me just tell you, I love it Now! Everything was so good, they had a variety of foods, from Huevos Rancheros, Belgium Waffles, carnitas, chicken, Pozole, dips, fruits, deserts it was ALL so delicious. Our Server was very nice and attentive. The Atmosphere was so cool, family friendly. I will be going back.

Food was great atmosphere was great! Darius, our server was excellent. Went here for Sunday brunch. While this location isn't as easy on the eyes or as inviting as the plano location the staff made up for it. I found the staff here to be more attentive than those at Plano location. Menu is pretty much the same at both location with each having some items that are unique to the location, unless they rotate items in and out on a weekly basis. I don't like mimosas, but you can get a few glassesinclusive with the mimosa brunch!

Great brunch spot. I really appreciated and enjoyed the made to order omelet station. The variety of brunch options to choose from was plentiful. I highly recommend the brisket on the carving station. The pineapple fresa and the tarts and red velvet cupcakes as well from the dessert station. Our waiter made sure to check in on us and the staff at the entrance made us feel welcomed when we arrived and thanked us for coming. They also offer mimosa's. I wasn't that impressed. Mine were kinda of flat. The pineapple fresa made up for it though.

Great Happy Hour! $5 blue Margaritas and $2 Tacos! Get the steak taco! So yummy and lots of meat! Very nice manager and helpful with our large group!Food: 5/5

Brunch is not well kept. Everything appears to have hatch chili. Shows photos delicious waffles and chicken. They have pancakes instead. Went at 1pm. He Mexican dishes do not hold up on the buffet. Half a trays of worn out looking items. Lots of ads promoting catering. If the buffet is an example their catering will be awful .

We came for brunch at Blue Mesa for the first time since 2015 last time was in Fort Worth at the Addison location. It was a great cohesive experience location to location, just like I remembered last time we were here. We arrived right at open after an appointment and were immediately greeted and seated. We were sat with Elvira who was fantastic, timely, and had a great positive attitude. We got multiple rounds of brunch, and cocktails mimosas and the blackberry sangria—-fabulous. The broccoli cheddar soup was great and you can tell it’s housemade, as was almost everything. As someone with a background in the service industry this was such a treat to feel relaxed and enjoy eating out somewhere as we tend to be in the mindset of “on the clock,” which can come across as critical. The food was great, the restaurant, buffet, and bathrooms were clean and well cared for. The staff had great energy and witnessed interactions. This is the kind of place I would have applied to in my 20’s. Great job!
