Phenomenal breakfast! Really good food for excellent prices. Not often that you find such a quality breakfast for the prices they are charging. The servings are also very generous. Nothing looks “out of a can” or frozen here; everything is cooked to order with real eggs and fresh food. Highly recommend over a typical chain restaurant. Treat yourself!
Visited on a Saturday morning. Place was busy but we arrived about 830 and were just ahead of a small wait line forming. We both enjoyed the food but the overall impression from both of is is that it was average. We did have an issue with one of the coffee creamer pitchers as well, having a pretty significant dried cream ring inside. I did not see any evidence of this being anything but a one item thing. Stuff happens. If in the area again we may give it another shot just to confirm our impressions .
I've been twice since arrived to town. This is a very small space but worth the wait, as long as you aren't too particular about your eggs. I ordered mine the same way both times with two very different results- neither one correct. The cook is extremely busy and I didn't really care. Pancakes are tall and yummy, no need for the powdered sugar. The corned beef hash is delicious! I loved it! Just the right amount of salty to go with the potatoes, and the corned beef was not all fatty like some places.
Very small portions than I expected. Home fries were a bit salty, I got more toast than French toast. Kinda sad we had to pay extra for strawberry stuffed French toast given the size. Service was kinda awkward since we walked in, we were waved down to sit by our first waiter. A mimosa was ordered and the first waiter taking a while to come back with the id. Kinda felt weird, I was like wait is she scanning it or getting a second person to see it.. Right after that we were passed off to another waiter.
this is the cutest breakfast place I’ve ever gone to!! the wait was a little long but it was also Mother’s Day, maybe 20-25 or so minutes. the food was so delicious, I got the home fries with the portobello omelette and sour dough toast, the home fries were the best I’ve ever had, the sour dough was so good and probably also the best sour dough I’ve ever had, minor thing, I think it’d be better if they added butter on the side only so the customer could add their own, the omelette was very yummy but it was kinda oily and it was very spongy? i still ate my entire plate of food!!
This is a wonderful little gem in Wakefield! It is a cute and quaint place with a friendly staff and delicious food. I went on a Tuesday around 11am, so we were seated and helped quickly. The menu has a number of options for those needing gluten-free - including crepes, pancakes, and stuffed French toast! They also offer almond milk for those who cannot have cream in their coffee. I had a savory crepe with the sweet potato side. Added a pinch of syrup on the crepe and it was amazing! The perfect combination of sweet and savory. This is a must try, but I can see things like parking, seating, and wait times being crazy on a busy weekend. I will definitely be back when in the Wakefield area! Parking: Do not park in the side lot. To go here you should park in the street.
I was back in the area so I wanted to get my favorite omelet artichoke, goat cheese, spinach. Seven years since my last visit, the food is still great!! Friendly service. Clean. Perfect place to catch up with an old friend. Do not miss the Sweet Potato hash brown. This was one of the last restaurants I visited before moving away and I'll always stop in when I'm in the area. Parking can be a little difficult, but, a very short walk will land you a spot.
Portions are huge and flavorful! The breakfast specials were very unique, a lot of things that I have not seem on other menus. The pineapple coconut bliss pancakes filled the plate and were like dessert, absolutely delicious. The swiss stuffed crepes were savory and they stayed warm throughout the meal. The home fries were seasoned well and had a great texture. The bottomless coffee was an added bonus. The only complaint that I have about this place is that the table service was extremely slow. The food came out very quickly, but the wait staff didn't seem like they could handle the demand of a Saturday.
Went today for a belated birthday breakfast with the fam. Our server was awesome and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. Best corned beef hash around! Get an extra side to take with you!
My wife and I took my parents here for brunch. We called when we left the house and they put our names down. When we got there, we were seated within a couple minutes. We found street parking - mark sure you don't park in the plaza and they will tow. They had a few outdoor tables but we opted inside on a hot day. They had dividers between tables so we felt pretty safe this was before restrictions were lifted I got biscuits and gravy. It was a bit on the salty side but not bad. The gravy had minced meat and chunks of breakfast sausage. The California omelette had salmon and some veggies. My mom thought it was pretty good. My dad and wife each got the crabmeat Benedict. The crabmeat were canned and it looked a very plain. Not a whole lot of taste. The OJ was not good...not fresh squeezed which is fine but it's not even Tropicana. Service was also just ok. Our waitress handed us off to another which was a bit odd since she was still around for a while cleaning. We would still come back to give it another shot... I've been here previously and remembered it was good. We'll blame this on Covid times for not being up to their previous standards.
