Chef and co-owner Jetmir Veritopi and co-owner Red Rami are dedicated to creating American classics with a Mediterranean twist using fresh, local, and sustainable food. Chef Jetmir’s style includes paring seasonal delicacies with his childhood family favorites. The cherished traditional recipes he grew up with will be given new life with the abundance of vibrant New England. Through our relationship with nearby farms and vendors, we will have the ability to provide a variety of exciting specials that change daily based on what is looking the most delicious that day . With the help of consultant Alison Poor, we are committed to being an environmentally conscious establishment from our reclaimed booths and tables to our composting bins and recycled materials. Early Harvest Diner aims to become a vital part of the community by creating strong relationships with our customers by supporting local businesses and sustainable practices.
Early Harvest is committed to being an environmentally sound restaurant in all aspects. The flooring is comprised of a mixture of concrete and apoxy, a much more sustainable material than tile. The booths are made from reclaimed material. The napkins and take-out receptacles we use are also made from recycled materials and are compostable. Our food will be locally and sustainably sourced in order to reduce our carbon footprint in addition to supporting local vendors. It is important to Early Harvest to support local farms and businesses. All food scraps and napkins will be made into compost to be used at farms and gardens in the area.
Community involvement is something Early Harvest takes very seriously. This restaurant hires from within the community. Early Harvest will be an active member and advocate of the Wakefield community by becoming involved in local events and fundraisers. We are committed to building lasting relationships with our customers as well as other local businesses.”
