Delicious. The biscuit under the eggs benny's was so tasty. I definitely wish the potatoes were seasoned more. Waitress was very nice.
Heading up Route 16 and looking for a real country diner for that feel good meal? Get off of the highway and try a real byway like Route 153. There along the old railroad you'll find a quaint and homey little restaurant by the name of MaryMac's. Tell 'em PapaJoe sent ya!
Be aware : sign outside reads "Beakfast/lunch 7:30-2 Friday and Saturday" roadside and on door. Breakfast is only served from 7:30 to 11:30. We arrived at 1PM on Friday thinking I would be able to get breakfast. Drove out of our way based on reviews. My husband had a patty melt which was excellent. I had coffee which was nice and strong but not offered a refill. Sign perhaps should have read: breakfast 7:30-11:30. Lunch Friday and Saturday 11:30 - 2:00 to avoid confusion. Also note hours listed on door are inconsistent with information listed on Google. Would recommend calling to get accurate hours for which meals on which days.
Had a really nice,fantastic, meal tonight. Friday's was just as scrumptious and the band is back. Very relaxing and the band did not miss a beat. Starts at four and closes at eight. Hope to see my friends there next week.
So yummy !! We even took muffins to go. Our family tried the pancakes with fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, eggs and toast and western omelet! Great atmosphere, excellent service ! We will be back for sure !
We stop in here for breakfast on weekends from time to time. It's out of our way a bit, but if we're nearby we'll stop in as it's consistently very good! They offer a limited dinner selection on some weekend nites BYOB, too, otherwise it is breakfast and lunch only. Easy access from Rte 153 northbound side plenty of parking.

Best local food around. The burgers are #1 in Wakefield. They are huge and homemade with tons of toppings. We have been to other town places that don't even compare.
Great little family restaurant. Had an awesome breakfast for a reasonable price. Will definitely come back soon!
The food was ok. Expensive and you get a little amount of food. The coffee was so strong I couldn't drink it. Would not go there again.
