Bob's Burger and Brew

Food was good; lots of selection and variety. Beverages were good and reasonable. A few items had to be asked for more than once and need to specify burger temp for your burgers. I liked the variety of options for sides which included fries, chowder, and salad :Food: 5/5

Yesterday I ordered a bacon hamburger to take away and I was very disappointed because the lettuce was all moldy and ugly, also the flavor of the hamburger was far from what I have eaten there on other occasions. Apparently there is a big difference between the service in the restaurant and the one that is ordered to take home. I do not recommend anyone to ask for take away because apparently they place expired or expiring food.

My friend and I planned to meet at Bob's by 11 as the website stated the restaurant was open at 11 am opens at 11:30. We were seated close to the door but were in a hurry so didn't fuss about it. Food was served in a timely manner as we told the waitress we had appointments. Chose the hamburger and Havarti but burger could have been cooked 2 more min. Otherwise all was good.

What does fish and chips mean to you? To me as a Washingtonian it means deep fried cod with fries. Not deep fried fish and coleslaw. At this Barkley Bob's Burger & Brew you have to order fries with your fish. They automatically come with coleslaw instead. I ordered three two-piece fish and chips. Also calamari. When I got home I had fish and slices of lemon like you see on the side of your glass of water. Also the coleslaw that automatically came with it was soggy over peppered and vinegary. The fish was soggy tasteless and chewy. The salad came with things on it I didn't order. They got the blue cheese dressing on the side if you want to call it blue cheese dressing. I called and asked about the fries thought they may have forgotten them. I was told that the menus vary from place to place. Funny thing is the last Bob's and brews that I was at had the same menu. They also knew that fish and chips meant fish with fries. The calamari I ordered was greasy and thin and tasteless with a little spice that I didn't order and you never get on any other calamari. A true waste of money and time.

Bob's Burgers and Brew always delivers on delectably delicious, melt in your mouth, firing on all cylinders flavor! Along with exceptionally filling portions, you won't break your wallet and always well worth what you pay for. Perfection on a plate no matter what you order! My personal favorite burgers are the sweet and savory Hawaiian Burger and the rich and smokey Guacamole Bacon Burger. Jam packed full of juicy goodness, paired with a side of hot and delicious fries, wash it down with a cold and refreshing beer; I went with Blue Moon, your taste buds will thank you! I recently had the Steak Salad that was just to die for! Dangerously delicious with a generously portioned steak, cooked rare to melt in your mouth perfection! Paired with a tasteworthy raspberry vinaigrette and texas toast to soak up that sweet dressing. Definitely worth getting again! Almost everything on the menu is worth getting again and again! Home run every time! Bob's hits it out of the park with flavor! Everything on the menu is a Ball park win for the record books! Friendly and welcoming staff will make you feel right at home right as you walk in. Optional outdoor seating as well, for those sunny day Sunday brunches, or dinners, or just a drink with a friend... whatever the occasion, be sure to make it happen at Bob's Burgers and Brew! 5 stars hands down, two thumbs way up!

The Barkley Bob's Burgers & Brew hasn't let me down. I've been there many times, and the service and food have always been great. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.
