If you want to enjoy a good burger you definitely have to come to The WORKS! My kids wanted to go there and I don’t eat burgers but went along with them and OMG . The outside doesn’t do any justice to this lovely place. Great atmosphere, great staff and the owner Lew is a fantastic host, very personable and make everyone at home! The food is soooo delicious. We started off with the Tower O Ring, that was a hit for me with the homemade dip to die for! Now the meal even was better especially for someone like me who doesn’t eat burgers I was surprised to find a very delicious plant based burger “the son of the beach” , my husband had Elk burger , and the kids had blue burger and poutine! To top all of this up the kids couldn’t resist but to have the birthday cake milkshake ! We are going back again! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes! Dietary restrictions: Great selection for everyone i.e Vegan, vegetarian and kids!
My family and I went there today Aug1,2022 for our first time. The restaurant is very nice with medium volume music playing in the background that won't annoy you while talking to others. Shaina was our server. She always shows up to help with smile. She's very very nice, gave us time to figure the menu out, she did our Pepsi refill without us asking, explained the menu very well, and told us about the favourite beer options, and gave us a few sample shots!! The food was seriously very good!! Perfect sides, delicious Kobe, and cheese stuffed burgers, soft bun, and a lot of topping options to choose from that made us hardly decide which-one to get!! Also, they have the option to modify the selected topping in a way that you like. For example I removed pickles and added mushrooms instead. Overall, very fair pricing, good food and beer7% one gets u drunk lol and having Shaina as our server made us wanna go back again very soon!! Thank you.
Great burger place, will def return. The place was remodeled a number of yrs ago, great lighting and cool industrial vibe. We had... Burgers lol. Fresh and tasty. Fries were great bottomless! but the onion rings were better. Quick friendly service, if you love burgers you need to give this a try.
My family and I came here recently after driving pass this place for over a year. We decided to eat on the patio. As we sat down and took a look at the menu which was a bit overwhelming with all the burgers and add-ons. We notice a lot of flies but that wouldn’t stop us from eating on the patio on such a beautiful evening. We finally figured what we want to drink and eat so I order the Long Island Par Tea which wasn’t long at all.. I had to ask our server if it had alcohol in it…. It’s suppose to have Vodka, Gin, Rum & Triple Sec… I tasted zero alcohol…. My wife order the crush the bulldog… to our surprise it was just a slushy in a measuring cup with an upside down Sole beer…. Very disappointed seeing I’ve had bulldogs at many other restaurants before.. My wife and I also had the B.A.B burger with Kobe Style Wagyu Beef and was disappointed once again. The burger Patty was on the dry side. My kids got a plain Burger meal and a poutine meal. The poutine was Good! And the fries were good! I was really rooting for this place but unfortunately I was disappointed.
It's a roadhousey burger place that seemingly only exists in small towns. The Newmarket one I think might be the closest to the city? Sort of a shame since i think it's better than any of the fast foot choices like Five Guys. Fun fancy burgers are very good, onion rings are the best part. Milkshakes also really good, but those onion rings... It takes time to get your food, so don't go if you're in a huge hurry I assume it takes time to make stuff fresh, but what do I know, but I'm pretty patient and the burgers are consistently good and did I mention the onion rings?, so totally worth the wait. Vegetarian options: It's a burger place that has what seems like a viable vegetarian option. I think that's unique? Like not just a mushroom on a bun. Parking: Suburban lot that is shared with Farm Boy. Perfect for a double feature date night featuring a burger and picking up milk afterwards. Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp in and single level seating.
This place was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. My burger was a 4 ounce and kind of charred. The milkshake was Nutella and fabulous. Don't remember the rest of my meal which I think speaks for itself. Price point is very good.Food: 3/5
Been coming here for a few years. Always enjoyed a pint and a burger here. Really good portions. Freshly made and good flavours. I usually order with sweet potato fries. My husband orders with regular fries. Definitely one of the enjoyable eat in burger joints. Very friendly staff and nice seating as well. It’s not Toronto craft grade but a rare find in the suburbs for sure.
The Works is my girlfriends favorite restaurant. We are from Vaughan but still mission here for the great food and service! The burgers are great but you have to try the milkshakes!Food: 5/5
Had to try this place finally as we have walked and driven by many many times. so we finally did and tried take out. The Owner, Lou, was very kind and professional and helpful as well. Did not know what we wanted so he suggested some of them to us. Hubby and Friend had the Getting Piggy with it and I had the KD Burger. We thoroughly enjoyed it and so much so, that we went to the Restaurant on April 5. Lou was not there but we had a good time. Brought daughter with us. She had the KD Burger as did I and Hubby and friend had different burgers too. The two times we have had, we have enjoyed. Thank you Lou for suggesting what to try and we are pleased we did. Will be back.
Finally!!!... A classy burger joint that tops any other in Ontario! The hospitality is to perfection, incrediblewaitress!!! and the food is cooked to a "T" and presented like you're a Michelin Man. The atmosphere is perfect for almost any setting but the fooooood! So glad I stopped in! I'll be back before I eat anywhere else! What a delightful meal! Thank you WORKS! Vegetarian options: Oh they have it all! : Kid-friendliness: I'm bringing my son tomorrow! Thus why incase to see. What a great family restaurant! Parking: You'll be able to park near by...tons of parking space! : Wheelchair accessibility: For sure! Super accessible Dietary restrictions: You can be a vegan and enjoy it how i did. This is a restaurant for everyone and their integrity shines through they're food. :
