Boeckh is a quaint and picturesque place to take a leisurely stroll along the Savannah riverfront or simply bask in its beautiful landscape. There are adorable places along the way to take pictures. In fact, it is favored by prom goers and wedding parties alike. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly Picnic area: Picnic blankets were being used by various people we but didn't see tables readily available
This was a gorgeous pathway. Beautiful scenery, paved path shaded by trees. Parking was tough. I would add more water fountains. It’s very hot in the summer time. Dog-friendliness: I ran 5K with my dog and she enjoyed it as much as I did with exception of the oppressive heat. There was a dog water fountain but it didn’t work.
Simply beautiful and peaceful setting. No play sets in the park for the kids but just enough space for them to run around like we use to do back in the days and play. Small boat dock but unsure of neighborhood rules and regulations for its use. The North Augusta "Greenway" continues through the Hammonds Ferry neighborhood and Boeckh Park. Enjoy!
Great park for walking, running and biking. Always kept up and maintained very well.
Such a beautiful spot to take in the river views. You can walk the greenway or walk up to one of the restaurants near by.
Nice and quaint open field for picnics or just getting out of the house and enjoying the sights and sounds near the Savannah River!
Lake Olmstead trail head. Not a real park. Great walking trails near the river and canal. Clean bathrooms covered area with 2 picknick tables. Great for walking or biking.
Beautiful walk along Savannah River in North Augusta's neighborhood
Very nice and relaxing. Loved the river right there. The bridge does need to be repaired.
Very nice stretch of riverfront path. When I went, I think part was blocked or under construction, so it wasn't a long stretch of path. Also, the park is not too wide - if you're looking for wide open space for frisbee or the like, then you might look elsewhere.
