Boiler Gold Rush is the new student orientation program at Purdue University! During the week of, over 600 student volunteers lead over 6000 new students around campus to get them acclimated to Purdue, as well as to introduce them to Purdue traditions and the college life.
The mission of Boiler Gold Rush is to instill excitement in being a Purdue student through an engaging and enriching environment that provides opportunities to partake in meaningful activities, traditions, leadership development and conversations with students of various backgrounds and experiences.
