great place! they took care of my babies like they were their own. Dr. Gaines is awesome showing care for all animals. helped us work around a budget to get the dogs up to date on vaccinations they needed.
Brought out cat "sorin" there 9 months ago, because he had reoccurring dirty ears. The vet was mediocre at best. He was "afraid" of our cat. Who is one of the friendliest cats I've ever known. He wouldn't let us come back there for the inspection. He was too afraid to do anymore because he was scared of the cat? Our main vet has no issues and he is pretty friendly with our main vet. His ear canal was supposedly very clean but the outside was just very dirty. Not much useful info, and when I asked if he even cleaned his ears. He wanted to charge us for the whole bottle of cleaning solution. Going forward we have just cleaned his ears every couple days or so and had no more ear infections.
Breckinridge animal hospital is absolutely the best vet !I adopted a dog that got very sick I called many vets to try to get sameday appointment but all were booked until I got a hold of Breckenridge .The lady that answered the phone was very sweet and helpful and seemed concerned so I got app when I got to the vet she was amazing even the tech was very sweet and helpful!So glad I found them I will always go there for my pets price was reasonable too!!!!
My husband's best fur friend Luna had an open sore she kept licking causing infection and thankfully Breckenridge Animal Hospital aka Dr. Cobb took good care of her and has her on antibiotics and is recovering well I believe. Thank you for having an available appointment because no one else did locally until 2 weeks out.
I'd like to say, I grew up with pets and having farm animals, etc., and I've never met friendlier staff than at Breckenridge Animal Hospital. From the moment I walked in, my anxieties we're eased, as each staff member greeted me and spoke to me like they'd known me for years. The Dr has many years of experience, and, like the rest of the staff, explains everything in detail, answers questions thoroughly, and genuinely care about the fur children just as much as the human parents. I definitely found a home clinic here. I don't want to go anywhere else.
Outstanding Vet practice! I called to see if they were able to urgently see my sick cat since my normal vet wasn’t able to see us! They got us in as soon as I was able to get there! A lesser vet would not have been able to diagnose my cat since he wasn’t showing the tail-tell signs of a blocked urinary system and his bladder was not very distended because we caught it so early! The Vet hit his diagnosis spot on and was excellent in his knowledge and referral to a pet ER with 24 hr a day monitoring! I am so thankful to him for that! They called several times to see how my cat is doing! I feel fortunate to have found them! I am now going to bring all my cats 4 rescue kitties there for routine care!
I love the whole staff! Charlie gets great care from every team member
The Doctor took time to sit down and talk with me about my dog's behavior issues. He sat down and watched interactions with me and my pet. He made some suggestions that would not cost me anything but time. He personally called me the next day with lab results and asked how my dog was reacting to the visit the day before. Where have they been all these years of using other vets?
Had such a great experience here! They were SO friendly and answered all of my questions. They told me everything they were going to look / treat for general wellness check and even went through the price breakdown before they took my cat back for her shots. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable they even showed me exactly how and where to give my cat her flea/tick medicine. Seriously can't recommend enough!
The staff always makes us feel welcome. They treat our pets as if they were their own. LOVE THEM!
