This review is based on an experience with the manager and not the campground itself. My husband and I were out on our jet skis and one of them broke down. He towed me to their boat launch where we docked. We then asked several workers is if it would be ok if we brought our truck to pick them up. We were told it would be no problem go to the desk and grab a parking pass. Once at the office we asked another employee who once again said it should be no problem. The manager then came out and told us no that the dock was inoperable….we just left the dock and it was very much operational. She then asked if one of us was able to stay with the skis and we were willing. Then reiterated that no we could not use the dock. It’s amazing how unwilling this manager was to help people in need! As locals to the area we were astounded that a family park would be so cruel. I just hope that if you are ever in need you are shown the kindness we were denied. In case you care we did make it out of the water before the storm hit. Have a blessed day!!
We had a nice stay - friendly staff and very close to many restaurants and beaches - bath houses are decent if you need them. Laundry is available too. Many things to do in park/ nice clean pool -a small 18 hole mini golf course shuffleboard, horseshoe, and basketball - can borrow all sports equipment from office fun for a family. We came in late Wednesday and check in was awkward - don’t pull your rig to the right in front of office, after hours small gate will be closed and trying to turn around is a bear. Just pull straight up to the main gate, walk over to the right at the office and get your check in packet with entry card for gate.
We are Coast to Coast people, booked for 2 weeks, then Ian hurricane was formed. We live in Florida, we had reservations to stay at Sebastian inlet stat park, these reservations were cancelled due to Ian. We spoke to the manager at briar cliff resort and asked if we could stay 2 more nights, we were willing to pay, but no, they would not let us stay, very inconsiderate, and would not break the rule because they had the park marked SE, it's bike and gay pride weeks, the park was getting empty no one is going to ride motorcycles in the rain, yet let's not break the rules for a major hurricane. Not very humane of them. Sad what people and this country have come to, money vs. human lives. Awful.
Yes this very clean please an people are nice and friendly an helpful. And as for me an my wife we really enjoyed spending time here.Location: 5/5
This is a very nice RV resort! Clean and plenty of space. The pool is a bit small but the mini golf and playground is nice and clean!
Very nice park. Located right off of hwy 17 and not on the beach but very nicely spaced sites with concrete pads and patios. All utilities worked spot on. Very good HD cable channels too. We will definitely stay here again.
Not very friendly staff if you are a coast to coast member instead of a Briarcliff member. Good location next to lots of restaurants.
Love staying at Briarcliffe! Great office staff and maintenance crews. Worship Services every Sunday at 8:45. Well lit for campers walking their dogs at night and gated for safety. Traveled across the USA and haven't found a better campground.
Stayed in the Park Manor units for the second time. Loved that they have pet friendly units. Staff are friendly and responsive to requests! Definitely a friendly place to stay in North Myrtle Beach! We will be back in October!
Excellent camping resort. Nice sites, clean facilities, excellent location.
