Wonderful experience. Dr. Lugo and staff were great. I would definitely recommend this dental office to friends and family. Professional and courteous staff are top-notch. Recently, I had to have some dental work, and there were no hiccups and issues.
I split my tooth on Thursday night and my Dentist was closed until Monday. So I had to find a dentist that was able to see me Friday morning. I told them that I had a toothache and what happened over the phone luckily so I thought I received an appointment for 3pm Friday. I waited a hour in a hot waiting room, the treatment room was very unsanitary I seen dust bunnies by the window the cabinets had hand prints all over. The X-ray equipment had also dust the air and water tools were hanging half on the floor. If I wouldn’t had the pain I would have left. The doctor came took the X-ray and told me that I need a filling and a crown I agreed in the hope the tooth would stop hurting only to get told to schedule an appointment for next week. I was in shock she didn’t do anything at all to make my toothache stop not even the filling she told me she was done for the day. So I explained to her that I was told that I had a two hour appointment to get everything done that day at least this is what I got told over the phone. So replied to me that she is never doing same sedate treatments. So be aware don’t fall for that. On Monday I will be seeing my dentist who will for sure treat my tooth.
High turnover with dental hygienists. Office just informed me 1 hour before my scheduled appointment that they yet again do not have a dental hygienist. Second time in a year. I can only assume it must be a bad work environment since they can't retain a dental hygienist. No referral to another office so I can get the dental care I need. They just put me on a waiting list just like they did before and have me wait. It will probably be another 6 months before they get another hygienist. I would say don't bother. This dental office can't be consistent. Will not be going there ever again. Good riddance!
I went for a dental surgery consult but was disappointed after waiting for 40 minutes passed my 1:00 pm appointment. The lobby was not crowded, but one other person came behind me. A problem occurred when the other person went on the wrong date for her appointment. I gathered that her appointment was different from the date she came in. However, Dr. Chaddad took her before me, which was not cool. Dr. Chaddad is an attentive and knowledgeable dentist, but his respect for my time as a new possible patient was lacking. Dr. Chaddad talking very loudly about my dental problems that the entire lobby could hear was confusing and disappointing because I wasn't wearing hearing aids or noted I had hearing problems. When the consult was over, and I walked to the lobby, several people were waiting, and sure, they had heard all about my dental problems. What happened to HIPPA? There is an upselling of dental implants. Plus, he told me what I needed instead of asking me what I wanted. Also, the room where I was seated seemed unkept and had a rusted IV pole. The dental chair didn't seem clean; there were discarded small wrappers at the bottom of the chair. The room was an overflow room where employees stored items, in my opinion. Overall, feelings amounted to being disappointed on a level of 5. No apology for keeping me waiting or taking someone ahead of me that didn't have an appointment for that day. Not, sure if I will return for dental surgery. Being able to trust a medical professional is huge for me, and part of that trust comes with common courtesy and honesty.
2 1/2 months ago I walked in with a cracked tooth on one side and a broken tooth on the other. As of today I am back to normal. Highly recommend this place. Staff is very accommodating for your needs.
I switched dentist because my old dentist did not accept Dominion National HMO, they did accept GEHA. My new dental office accepts both. Plus, Dr. Lugo was fantastic as a dentist. All of the staff very friendly and professional.
It has been 10 years since I have had a dental cleaning. I had a horrible experience while in the military and have been resistant to going back. The hygienist Anthony was amazing and I cant wait to go back to get my otherside done.
While the orthodontist and his assistants are great, the scheduling and front desk are a mess. Our kids' appointments are constantly changed. My husband and I both work and specifically set up time to take our kids out of school to get to these appointments... and we will get a call a week beforehand needing to change....only to have them changed again after we move our schedules around. It's almost impossible to get an appointment if something needs to be fixed with our kid's braces. My son's wire was cut too short at his regular appointment and kept popping out of his bracket. I was told it would take over a month to get him in to have his wire fixed. I had to take his band off and place his wire back anytime he ate for over a month. I work in the dental field and am incredibly underwhelmed with how the front desk staff acts towards their patients. They are short with their patients and act like we are bothering them with our presence. The ADA also states that front desk personnel and patients no longer need to wear masks and a mask policy is still strictly enforced here.
First off-- I will give Dr. Chadad's side 5 Stars!!!! He is amazing and made my extraction so seamless. Now the other side of the office..... This office is easily the worst dental experience I have ever had. This office has so much turnover. The office did not have a hygienist for almost 6 months meaning my cleaning was delayed for that long. They did not even provide a referral for another office. The unprofessionalism in this office was astonishing to the point where I had an appointment scheduled and I come in for them to tell me I am not on the schedule. Another reason I would not recommend this office is when I went in to receive my dental implant, the dentist had a hard time fitting my implant and he was trying to force it in over and over meaning a lot of pressure was placed on my jaw. He was quite rough despite me noticeably being uncomfortable. I am finally writing this review after receiving a call that my cleaning appointment has to be moved to another date once again. I cannot believe an office operates like this.
I was a patient here for over 25 years. The place has gone to hell in a basket. They can’t keep dentists and hygienist. They have office workers who don’t know what they are doing. They scheduled me twice for a surgical procedure and canceled the first appointment once I got in the office. They then rescheduled the appointment that day. I called the day before the second scheduled appointment and was told I’m not on the schedule. That was enough for me! The offices are located in Spotsylvania and Garrisonville. Very rude office worker at the Garrisonville office.
