I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a very delicious grilled salmon salad and sampled the ravioli vodka sauce which was amazing. I want to come back just for that so I have to say, a good option if you are out at the Danbury Mall. Always like to update an experience as it was fabulous on my second visit. Great sitting outside with views of planes landing at Danbury which makes plane watchers happy while waiting for dinner.
We had a private room for a birthday here Saturday night and the food and service was very good. Two bottles of red wine and white were part of the service and all four wines were substantial. Complimentary bread baskets accompanied each table. Our groups appetizers were caprese fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil drizzled with olive oil, lobster ravioli, calamari and roasted red pepper Bruschetta. The caprese was the best of the four. The lobster ravioli had little flavor and the fried calamari was in unusually small cuts. Of our entrees, the grilled salmon fresca and the New Zealand double-cut lamb chops were the winners. Both scrumptious and cooked perfectly. My seven ounce center cut filet mignon was good and cooked as ordered, but the lamb chops stood out. The Shrimp Capri was fair as were most of the other pasta choices. The lasagna at another table served in an oval ceramic baking dish looked delicious. Drinks from the bar, coffee service and birthday cake were all delivered at the appropriate time and satisfying. For those going to Brio for regular meals in the main room or at the bar, the Danbury Brio is spacious, contemporary and well decorated.
Visit was back in 2016. Service was super slow. Dinner took about 2 hours. Food was fairly good. In early 2017 they failed a health inspection and came up as one of Danbury's dirtiest. Wouldn't go back at this point.
Great place. We came for my wife birthday. Delicious food, very attentive, great customer service!!!! Highly recommended
Had lunch here. The food was great had the grilled Salmon.. the service was nice and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back here again.
The service and food was outstanding. Definitely will return here in the future
Excellent service! Brittney the host was amazing.
Reason why we waited 1hr for our meal i ordered the ravioli dish got 4 pieces my husband ordered beef with vegetables the gave him a very small portion of veggies the were short staff and it showed many people were complaining will not return
I am thoroughly disappointed with this restaurant!!! It took a server almost 10 minutes to even acknowledge us after being seated. The appetizers came to the table quickly but it took another 40 minutes for the main meal to arrive. When the food arrived, I was amazed that the portion sizes were so small. Both My son and I ordered the bolognese. There was a good amount of sauce on each plate but very little pasta. The bowls almost looked like an appetizer. My wife ordered a Different pasta dish and her bowl had much more in it than ours. Couldn’t the chef see that each bowl was only half filled? I brought it to the attention of the waitress and she did not call a manager over. The end result was that my son and I both left the restaurant still hungry. I Caution everyone TO ABSOLUTELY NOT EAT HERE unless you want to feel ignored, wait forever for your food and then pay over $120 only to leave feeling hungry and unsatisfied.
We had a very good experience here. Seated quickly had a reservation, g greeted by our server immediately. Four diners who all order very different things, chicken, pasta, salmon and a shrimp dish. Each person commented on how good the food was. The desserts were well done and tasty and not too big. I would definitely recommend Brio for a night out.
