Dr. Martin and his staff are very warm and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist but I always love my visits.

I have been here many times during the past 6 months. Dr Martin and his entire staff are very caring and empathic. They check with me regularly to make sure that I'm comfortable. They spoke to me like family, they are kind and generous. Dr Martin had to do several crowns for me and he was very caring and gentle. Precision and my comfortable were so important to him, he does excellent work! My sons are now also going there. This is now my new home dentist office.

This rating is based on the current dental practice "Winning Smiles". I have never received anything but stellar service from Dr. Brooks and her staff. Dr. Brooks had been my dentist for 15+ years upon her retirement I was saddened hoping the new practice would keep her legacy going. Unfortunately they have not. The first sign was the numerous text messages sent me to for my adult child appointment, and after making them aware of the error they continued to text me and her, but yet canceled her appointment upon her arrival stating a mix up of times, we both ignored that stupidity and continued our care with their office. Last straw for me was a recent appointment I scheduled for myself. Weeks before the appointment I would receive calls a least 4 advising "we have a cancellation would you like to come today" after advising them each time "No. I would like to keep my scheduled time". 2 weeks before my appointment I would receive several text messages to confirm appointment. Now I have already confirmed at least 4x via phone, and 2x via text even one more confirmation the night before. Only to receive a text 2 hours before appointment that my appointment had been canceled because I did not confirm. When did it become a "requirement" to confirm your appointment.....most medicals office it is a courtesy never canceling your appointment via text message 2 hours before scheduled appointment. Please be aware this dental practice is not the same as the previous practice. Very unprofessional, unorganized and lack insurance billing knowledge and patient concern and care.

I have finally found a very professional and knowledgeable dental practice. Dr Martin explains every procedure so that you know what to expect and feel comfortable without pain. His staff is welcoming and professional also.

I absolutely love this dental office.. I have been bragging about Dr. Martin every since I’ve been going there. It had been a while since I had been able to consistently get to the dentist - especially still being fairly new to Charlotte. It was the end of 2020 that I had been searching for a dental office, I saw Walter G Martin on the providers listed and was supposed to call but I put it off wanting to do more research on other offices. I finally at the top of this year decided to make a decision and as noticed I chose Dr. Martin. I had a toothache to happen before my first actual New patient visit and they were able to get me in to check out what was going on right away. They gave me a overview of everything I would need to get done and from that visit in February to the one I just had this Wednesday it has been phenomenal experiences. I love the atmosphere, I never have to wait long they actually get me in a little bit before my time scheduled. I love how inviting this office is and how pleasant each person/assistant is. They take care of you, check in on you during the steps of the process and the results are amazing. I can’t stop smiling literally!! I can’t wait for my next few appointments to come, I am getting everything done that was needed and should be good to go by August to get on track with regular yearly appointments. Had my first appointment today and this is where I will go from now on. The office staff was very professional. The dental hygienist really put me at ease because I had a bad experience with a dentist. Dr. Martin is very professional and outline my upcoming treatment. He took time to answer all my concerns and questions.

Update: I am revising my review. After initially not having a satisfactory visit, I was personally contacted by Dr. Martin, one of the dentists there. He asked about my experience, apologized, and then made it a point to get me back in as soon as possible to address my dental needs. As I was leaving he made sure to ask if my needs were met. In addition, he placed another follow up call weeks later to ensure my needs were met. He definitely went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued and important patient. I really appreciate that as customer service like that is sometimes a rarity.

If I could give one hundred stars, I would! I love my teeth and take excellent care of them. I love Dr. Brooks, my dental hygienist, and her staff. I have been a patient since 2005 and never had a problem. The staff is organized and professional. Safety is always #1. You may have to wait a few weeks to get an appointment, but it will be worth the wait. The best keep secret is out. Dr. Brooks is the best dentist in Charlotte.

This office was amazing when Dr. Brooks was here. She is such an amazing lady and her staff reflected her care for patients. Since Dr. Brooks had to leave, this place went downhill, very sad. In December of 2020, I was diagnosed with Covid and was cleared by my doctor to return to work in January. My dental cleaning was in February, I received nothing letting me know what their protocol was, so went as I normally would. When I got there, they began asking me questions about covid, not satisfied with my answers, they went and pulled from somewhere that I had covid back in December. They told me that they wouldn't see me due to that but would do my x-rays, that made no sense. I asked them to transfer my records to another practice and they refused. Go down the calendar four months and I get a call in regards to my sister's appointment, the lady didn't even know who she called. When she learned who I was she wanted me to confirm the appointment, I told her I couldn't, she would have to speak to my sister. She kept insisting that I confirm and finally told me that if my sister didn't confirm, her appointment would be canceled. I called back and spoke with the office manager and explained what happened, no apology just attitude. My sister gets a call no more than two hours later telling her, her appointment had been canceled! Upon calling back, they told us the office manager had been the one to cancel. After rescheduling the appointment they canceled, August is the next available. Horrible service!!

I have been going to Dr. Brooks since I was a child. In the past 20 years I have received nothing but superb care. She takes her time and explains everything to you. She is gentle and shows concern for your overall comfort while in her care. Her staff is great as well, always friendly and willing to assist. Couldn't ask for a better Dentist and staff. I moved to GA about 10 years ago, and have established care with a Dentist here. However, I still return to Charlotte at least once a year for a checkup by Dr. Brooks. Hands down she's the best!!!!
