It's a campground, with the bonus of a pool. Spots aren't really big, but you're not here to spend time at the campground. Really nice owners. Bathrooms were spotless, hot water in the showers, and good pressure which you want after a hot day in Bryce or Zion. Great location, easy access to both parks if you don't mind a little drive since it's halfway between each park. We were able to get out of the campground and in to Zion before the crowds each morning by just starting a bit earlier. Next time we come back through if we intend to get to both Bryce and Zion again, we'll stay here.
This is a beautiful location in the canyon with easy access to highway 89. Tent sights and RV spots are available with lots of grass, large trees, and places for campfires. The picture was taken from the road just above the campground and is what it looks like when you are there. I took this picture early in the morning as the sun was hitting the beautiful cliffs. The actual campground and staff left little to be desired. Upon arrival the lady at check in was vey rude and dismissive. Though it says no animals in the office there was a golden retriever puppy running in there saying this bc we got yelled at when carting our puppy in at check in The pool was dirty and the grass was very tall. The horses were a hit with the kids and saved the day!! Good laundry facilities! Was about equal distance from campground to Bryce Canyon and campground to Zion. No nearby grocery or town. NO INTERNET or CELL SERVICE
Absolutely amazing. Beautiful weather, loved all the trees. The owners so wonderful, met us late evening the day we arrived and checked on us each day. Stayed 7 days and going back next year. Some reviews say you can hear traffic from the main road and that’s what the con was. Well we stayed in space 36 and 37 by the road and the traffic couldn’t be heard. Bathroom and laundry super clean. Had good cell service was able to work remote. I have ATT If your looking for a great spot this is it. Close to so many things
What a quaint little park! Other reviews complain about sites being not level. Isn’t that why there are leveling tools? We did not have an issue with our 30ft motor home. But we saw some big rigs having issues. The park is in a valley surrounded by hills and a stunning canyon. Wildlife trail right behind the park and a old country road that dead ends provides a more natural experience. Wifi and phone service do not work well so let technology go and enjoy the simpler joys of life! Park owner and staff are terrific.
Well maintained campground with excellent laundry facilities cheap too! and clean bathrooms/showers. We went over Memorial Day so it was very busy, but the proprietor was lovely and accommodating. The views were great, with a horse pasture and friendly horses on one side and a beautiful rock formation on the other side. We tent camped so I can’t speak to the hookups for RVs, but we would come back!
Was disappointed with this campground. Sites were very tight and weeds and grass were up to my calf. Neighbors septic was on my site next to our picnic table. On their brochure, it said to beware of snakes. However, It was located well between Bryce and Zion. Pool was broke and cafe was closed. Here a day before the Memorial Day weekend began. Planned to be here thru the weekend. Left early.
Great location between parks, Kanab. Road noise 24 hours. Grounds ill kept-tall grass, utilities present but run over, pool not opened, cafe not opened. Showers/bathrooms seem recently renovated, nice hot water but not cleaned over busy memorial weekend. Laundry facilities great! Gruff owners, desk clerk. Would recommend for short stay over enroute to Zion or Bryce. We booked a longer stay and stuck it out.
Very Nice campground. Conveniently located. We slept in tents so I can’t speak for the camper experience. Bathrooms are immaculate as well as the laundry. The store has a nice selection. Cons. The Wi-Fi is terrible and the only people who had slight cell service were At&t customers.
Beautiful green shady peaceful tucked away campground centrally located between a lot of destinations. We stayed 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The horses were my favorite. Bring treats. : wifi service was not the best.. just fyi.
