Rented for Memorial Day wedding trip to Wisconsin. On way there and back had multiple issues, windshield wipers blades non existent aside from string you can see in the picture. This caused a very dangerous situation as we got hit with a downpour and could not see the interstate road and had to pull over. Air light for tire came on yet did not display PSI. When going the speed limit on interstate 80 it makes a noises that’s high pitched, and we even had death wobble. I immediately relayed to support To no helpful solution, I was on the phone for over 2 hours trying to get a replacement car or even windshield wiper blades to me, and of course calling the local line here brings you to main support line if they don’t answer, which they didn’t. In the end fault lies with the location I got the car from, so do you and your family a favor and rent from a budget that actually checks and inspects the vehicles they rent.
Car was extremely dirty in the second and third row - hadn’t even been wiped. Had I realized when I picked it up I would have asked for them to clean or replace it. Front was sterilized but there was still stuff in the front cubby. I gave them a 3 because they were able to give me the exact vehicle I asked for so I could test drive and see if I wanted to buy one of my own.
This is by far the best rental car location I've ever dealt with. I had a flat tire from car I rented at the airport location. I called roadside assistance, they said they would send out a tow truck, it never came. They said they would send a new car, it never came. I kept calling and they kept promising service. Four hours later I started calling all of the local budget locations, this is the only one that answered the phone and helped me get into a new rental car. The manager Joe helped me with everything and even discounted the day. No red tape, no waiting, just the best service ever. I fly to Denver every other week and will have an uber take me to this location ONLY. Because I know I will be able to talk to someone and get great service, bonus, I will avoid all of the airport fees. Thanks to Joe and the team
When we rented the car, it appeared that the car had been sitting a while in the sun hot blazing 95°… The car had 2 oz. cups of ketchup left in car, a Starbucks drink that had cream in it was starting to form cottage cheese on top, and what seemed to be a womens napkin of sort, with “red” on it. I can’t determine if that was real because I’m not the one that cleaned it… My wife my sister and my niece and brother-in-law are cleaned out the car before we put our luggage in it. They use Clorox wipes, Windex and sanitizing wipes to actually clean the car when it should’ve already been done. The steering wheel was sticky, juice splatter on dashboard and it was not vacuumed one bit. And when I spoke to the employee at the counter, they stated that it was a bit of a rush to get a car to me, and try their best to make it look good that there’s no way it was rushed because the drink would’ve not ofhad time to turn to cottage cheese. Blatant Lie.!! Upon returning the vehicle, the counter employee states he needs to email the managers, who conveniently was on vacation this week typical shelling the managerial team and do I need to say “oh will email them and then email you also”… we all know, that is what is said, but never completed. We usually rent from Enterprise which always has had five stars when we use vehicles from them, but they were all out of vehicles so we decided to go with budget….…NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN.
Friendly, professional and did their best to have car available at scheduled time. Slight delay, but we were made comfortable and entertained! Drop off at airport added to convenience.
I’m giving a 4, due to past great experience, but this time we had some issues upon renting. Our vehicle was rented to us and were walking over to get in and head on vacation when suddenly a women came up to us and said you can’t have that car, I’m taking it. We were flabbergasted and went to speak to the two poor young girls in the FAST BREAK car rental booth. We then had to wait longer and the vehicle we were given had not been cleaned inside or out since the previous rental, but did have a full tank of gas. I’m not sure what was up with Budget Rental and this old lady that took our rental out from under us, but it did leave us feeling like we were not very valued. The Ford Edge we were given as a rental did work for us, and hopefully we don’t end up getting stuck with anything from the previous renters since it hadn’t been cleaned or properly checked. I guess the clerk that I spoke with over the phone and when I at the location was the owner/ manager. He did not speak and he was on the phone not good customer to talk on the phone and help an in person customer. He did have vehicles unlike Hertz or Enterprise. The best thing is he quoted me a higher price than paid with insurance. That gave this Avis location a like from me. Customer Service is a top priority and it was not there at first. Try it out for yourself.
Terrible experience. Staffs patronizing attitude did not make situation any better. Did not remotely attempt to assist me in getting my refund back. I’ll never do business at this location or with Budget/Avis again.
I made a reservation a month back for the 4th of July weekend. The day before my travel, I found that my reservation was cancelled on the Budget website. I did not cancel it. I called the customer care number and after an excruciating amount of wait time and back-and-forth with the customer representative, I was told that my reservation was cancelled possibly because they did not have any cars available in that category. In case a vehicle in the same category is not available, the usual practice is to give a car that usually higher category, which they did not do. The representative gave me multiple options with higher quotes compared to originally what I reserved the vehicle for. This location, by no doubt, practices predatory marketing and I would avoid Budget for my future reservations. Avoid this location.
The rental process was extremely easy through the Aurora Budget - Aspen was very helpful and very polite! I asked her about an Uber to the airport when I returned the car, and she was able to change my reservation to drop off at the airport for less than an Uber would have cost! She was very thorough when looking at the car and making sure everything was in order to get me on the road! My dad was the one who dropped me off at Budget, we were both visiting my grandfather who lives nearby. My dad was equally impressed with the customer service and the location being so close that he commented about renting from them in the future as well! Highly recommend!
