The manager called me personally to take feedback about the trip and also waived my fuel charges as a goodwill gesture . Wonderful experience.
I specifically rented from this location due to a vehicle that they said that they had. They ended up doing a bait and switch on me and I ended up with the vehicle that I did not want. Not only that I ended up having to wait an extra 20 minutes because the vehicle that I did not want, was not ready. Then to top things off they left me with zero gas in it. I rent a lot of vehicles and this was by far my worst experience at a national.
Alex was awesome! I left my phone in one of their cars and when I called to see if it was still there Alex found the phone as well as my I-Pass and held them for someone to pick up to return them to me. The rental experience from this location was extraordinary. I was very pleased with this experience, well better than the airport locations I generally use.
Incredible service. Alex and his team were very attentive and empathetic. I also got the cleanest car ever in Chicago. Probably the only non smoker rental left in all of the Chicagoland area. Even though they aren’t the closest location to my home, I will rent from here again.
This is by far and away the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. We have booked this car weeks ago. Knowing full well that there is a shortage going on post covid and making sure that we had our car reserved so that we were ready to go. We show up- no car, no idea when there would be a car- and the attitude on the employee was out of this world. He started to tell us that because my husbands reservation was booked with points that it was harder to get him a car. He books cars regularly for work. So from being a loyal patron to your brand he doesn’t get any loyalty in return? His ‘it’s not my problem’ attitude was getting him into multiple arguments throughout the day, As more and more patrons showed up to get their cars that weren’t there. They were unapologetic and unwilling to help us navigate this change in plans. As we were waiting we saw someone get the last car in the lot and were informed that his reservation was from the day before and finally just getting fulfilled. We had our 3 month old baby with us so we were unable to wait the ‘what May be a day or so’ wait time and we left. We will be no longer using national and never visiting this location ever again.
Worst customer service, unprofessional staff! I would love to give negative ratings for this location. The national website showed that the vehicles are available but when I reserve the vehicle, I got a call from this location that no vehicles were available and cancelled my reservation. I did the reservation for next day and the same happened. The website showed the SUV’s weren’t available but the sedans were available. Curby, as a manager, it’s your responsibility that the website should reflect the right inventory. Guess you should do a better job in reaching out to your tech support to update the same! It’s a shame for national for not giving its customers a proper service. Very disappointed with your services, Mr. Curby Manager!
I would 1st like to give much respect to ALEX MARKOVICH, branch manager for the way he helped me in a situation that was handled but not quit til he took things in his hands. My sister was down to last result and ALEX made things happen. May 2022, now I am sending shots out to the whole staff at National Prise in Napeville, illinois Ogden Ave they are all respectful and quick on the ins and outs, I don't rent from any other company but here even though I have to drive a ways it is worth it. Keep up the great work team
Quick rental pickup, but I also have Emerald isle and a reservation. Good thing I don't pay mileage, because they were incorrectly recording mileage. I took pictures before I left the parking lot, and again when I drop the vehicle as it was after hours. Never picked up a vehicle with full gas, but returned with the same level wasn't a problem. Renting at off airport location saved a lot, but hours are limited. Good selection of vehicles when I went to pick up.
Smoothest car rental to date! Mini Van was ready, clean, and perfect for our needs. Vehicle was well equipped and had no issues with it at all. Location was convenient, and staff was friendly and quick. Check in and check out took just minutes.
Worst National Location & Experience. I have been using National for over years now and also an Executive Elite. This location is by far the worst. I've rented a car over here and went there to pick-it up. The car was pulled upfront and handed to us, It had a keyless entry. We put in our luggage in the trunk and realized that the keys were in the driver seat and got locked out. We let the staff know & asked if hey had a second set of keys. A few mins later the Manager [Tim Powers also the manager of Enterprise] comes up to us with an arrogant attitude, tells us straight that since we signed the contract its our responsibility now with no empathy to resolve it what so ever. Above all he seemed so judgemental & racial the way he was speaking to us with no empathy towards our situation. I totally understand if there's nothing he could do to help us, but he was reluctant to help us what so ever despite the fact that the Keyless entry shouldn't lock us out if the keys were inside. I was always proud of the service I used to get with National, took years to build that relation. Too bad all it takes is single bad manager to ruin all that. I've shared this experience with National customer rep, offcourse they were nicer and did waive the rental fee. I wanted to share the apathy the manger here has shown towards us and the issue.
