This is my absolute favorite library, and I've lived in several big cities with excellent libraries. There are often well-behaved dogs in the BV library and while it isn't loud by any means, the librarians don't enforce absolute silence which makes it feel very welcoming. I often take advantage of interlibrary loans as I have less common interests, and the overall collection is quite good for the size of the library.
Such a sweet and friendly place. We visited multiple times during our stay. There’s lots of books, games and toys to play with. Our favorite was Wednesday afternoons where kids can read to pups. My kids love it!
They don't have academic books in stock. Lady wanted me to sign up for a library card before vertifying a book can even be confirmed from a different library.
Amazing staff and excellent resource for our small community. My two-year old grandson is welcomed by name and joyfully skips into the children's room!
Used the library to have a test for my university proctored while in town, and I was so impressed by the facility, service, and kindness of the staff. Such a wonderful library!
Such a great place to take some quiet time and connect or get some work done so you don't have to take any vacation time.
First class small city library with accessible hours. Great helpful librarians and they are extremely active with community programs. Can’t ask for much more. 5 stars!

Small library and very loud because the librarians don't believe in silence
Truly a great resource, especially for this small community. Big collection of audiobooks, regional and local newspapers, lots of events for people of all ages and interests, and friendly helpful staff.
