Incredible show of lights! This experience is truly unique and one of a kind. This park allows you to drive through an incredible festival of lights that lasts four about twenty minutes. They even offer a 3D option. There's so much to see and do here and at the end of the drive there is a carnival you can enjoy should you choose! Definitely a great experience at a reasonable price!
This Festival of Lights is amazing! $40 per car gets you in to a holiday light drive that seems to keep going and going, it’s such a fun family activity! What’s nice is that if you need a restroom, there are a few right along the drive. There are cabins that you can rent there as well, to get an extended holiday light experience. At the end of the drive there is plenty of parking for the Holiday Village. There you’ll find camel & carnival rides, even a Ferris Wheel! The rides might be cold, so dress warmly or make a stop at the fire pit for some hot coco & roasted marshmallows to warm up. There are lots of carnival games & food - Funnel Cakes Yum! Come prepared to buy carnival tickets for most of the above mentioned village fun. Or just wonder through to soak up & spread the holiday cheer!
Wow! I am in love with this place! Might come back again next week. The lights are so amazing! The carnival at the end just wow. You get funnel cakes, corn dogs, nachos, hot chocolate and more: Had an amazing time with the family. All the lights were working!! The also have camels. Pretty cool. They have so much more cool stuff.
The photos do not say a thing about what you will see. I didn't want to ruin it because it is by far the best most filled Drive-Tru lights show I have been too. It is well managed with plenty of booth to pay or check in tickets however you will still have a bit of a backup in the beginning until you get through. Once through it is two lanes the whole time and you can go 10 mph to really enjoy every aspect of the show. You will not want to go faster because every side has something exciting. It is perfect for every age to enjoy. At the end of the drive you are met with a carnival like atmosphere that has, camel rides, 3 fire pits with seats around and a stand to buy s'mores kits and marshmallows. They have scenes to take pictures, rides like the fair to ride, games to play, and food vendors where you can get a big ol bucket of fries or caramel apple or just pizza. It is really a wonderful holiday event the whole family can enjoy and you don't need to get out of the car if you don't want too. Happy Holidays!
Even in this Era of CGI, this was a pleasant old school event. A little pricey and NOVA drivers still act like the park is I66, but the show is a nice way to spend an hour. Traffic gets crazy at the end as people jockey for the carnival. And the recommended route to 28 backs up. So what? Chill out and enjoy the lights.
One of the best Festival Drive light in Northern VA. Its $40 at the door but if you pre order online its $30 per vehicle. Its a good 3-4 mile slow ride with beautiful light shows. At the end they have a mini carnival, Camel ride, S'mores making. Family came to visit and took them here and they loved it.
The drive-through light show is really cool. It's longer than you think. Fun for the whole family. It's a perfect activity for people who can't walk well. Be sure to buy tickets in advance online to save $10. Two thumbs up.
The drive through was enjoyable, Price is ridiculously to high for it. But they urgently need to change the game attendants or work on their attitude and behavior, this is mostly for kids and happy times. They are so rude depressing and angry showing very unpleasant face to kids. Especially the pop up balloons woman and the duck woman they’re very mean to people.
One of the best seasonal events in the area! Definitely worth the cost of admission.
Good activity for kids maybe, but surely nothing interesting for adults. There were only two decorations that were worth watching Snow/rain drops and Star forest other than that every other decoration felt very boring. There is a Village Carnival/Fair towards the end of the drive, which seemed more interesting than the light show itself. Lot of activities for kids, and food joints for adults to keep'em busy. I bought the tickets online for $30 for a Car which is $40 if you buy them directly in the park. I don't think the whole experience was worth $30. May go again if the ticket pricing were $10-15 that too for the Carnival, not for the Light show.
