I purchased some bottles of lotion and ended up not needing to return them. I didn't have a receipt but they were unopened and not tampered with. I was told I couldn't return said items without a receipt. I asked about said policy and where it was documented that this was the case because I've returned items in the past at other locations. I wasn't given any documentation to justify their claims and wasn't offered any other assistance just a dismissal and unwillingness to help. It was not my usual pleasant experience of shopping at Burlington's. Their employees were rude and unapologetic. I won't be returning.
If you're looking for the "coat factory" keep looking. Very disappointed to learn they only offer coats in October and November. This is more like a Ross now. A nice Ross, with some great selections, though.
Good prices, but the staff is not the best. And their fitting room is always closed. I recommend to go to any other location. I usually understand when the fitting room is closed, but last time we were like 7 customers that wanted to use the fitting room and the manager didn't care. We all leave the store without buying anything. The store was almost empty because it was a rainy day.
i went in there to see if they had any good t shirts. did find them. Went to look at the shoes and they had some decent selection but i was finding my size in other aisles from different aisles. no big deal. When i went to pay i saw i was about the 12 person in line no big deal until i saw they only had 1 person at the register. it was literally taking like 6 minutes maybe each person. i wasn't going to stand in line for 45 minutes to 1 hour for a shirt. I find good deals but not going to wait that long during the week around 1pm. this wasn't on the weekend.
Don't no why I bother coming here any more. Each time I find something I want to buy usually like 1 shirt the line is super long and they have 1 or 2 employees working the registers.
They have great items at great prices. Things go fast though, so if you see something you like, take it. It might not be there next time around… the only bad thing is that a lot of the times fitting rooms are closed, so that makes you think twice about buying something sometimes. Otherwise, great spot to shop!
I'm only going on a comparison to other Burlington's I've been to. This was very cluttered and just kind of for lack of a better word gross. They were alarms going off from the tags on items that were sitting on the shelf. Racks were in total disarray. We also literally waited in line for almost a half an hour to check. Had it been that I was just shopping for myself, I would have just left it. But my kids found a few things they wanted. I will not return to this Burlington's. I get it, it's a discount shopping place I wasn't expecting Neiman Marcus, but this was just not a pleasant experience.
I've been shopping at this establishment for 15+ years, and this store has terribly declined over the last 2 years. Recently, on 3 separate visits, the store was not packed, yet there were no shopping carts or rolling baskets. The lines were very long, whereas it took 20+ minutes to check out, while only 2 clerks on the registers. When I mentioned to the manager and other employees, I received no response, like they could care less. Very disappointing. I'll have to find another store to shop at. .
I brought a cute little agenda on sale for $4.00, and a back pack purse for $12.00 on sale. It was super random purchases but good deals.
Never coming to this burlington again. YOU HAVE TO WAIT until the scronny young loss prevention guy let's you in. Then he has the nerve to ask what I am looking for? This is not the way to prevent shop lifting. He is just sterotyping and pissing people off
