I recently had the unfortunate task of arranging a funeral for my beloved grandmother, and during this incredibly difficult time, Butler-Stumpf & Dyer Funeral Home provided me with an outstanding level of care and support. The first and most valuable lesson I learned during this experience was the importance of planning one's last wishes. The team at Butler-Stumpf & Dyer not only understood this significance but also made it a seamless journey for my family. From the very first call, Alysha, the funeral director, was there to guide me step by step. Her knowledge, patience, and understanding made a world of difference in navigating the intricacies of arranging a funeral. Her genuine empathy and willingness to answer every question I had truly eased the burden during this emotionally challenging time. Butler-Stumpf & Dyer Funeral Home's entire team exhibited a level of compassion that went above and beyond. They handled every aspect of the funeral with the utmost care, ensuring that all arrangements were executed flawlessly. Even through the challenges of power outage within the city, they continued communication with me every step to ensure that my grandmother was in the best of care. Their attention to detail and dedication to honoring my grandmother's memory meant so much. I cannot express enough gratitude for the remarkable service I received throughout the entire process. Thank you Alysha and team and Butler-Stumpf & Dyer.
Although this has been a very trying time for my family I have to say thank you all for your services as we were extremely pleased to see that my father was well taken care of and had a wonderful homegoing service for him. The entire process was handled with care and professionalism from the start to the end. The McAlester family appreciates the love and care that was provided to my father.
The staff provided good service. During our time with them the associate that was assisting us became ill. We were not informed until I called. Once I spoke with them the account was picked up and the service from then on was wonderful. They even called me after hours to make sure we had received emails sent earlier in the day.
I would trust Riley with any death i or my family encounter. She is professional, kind hearted, and she actually listens to what you/ the deceased would have wanted & gets it done in a timely manor. She gave my family and I no issues and made this process easy for us while we are grieving. I am a firm believer that loved ones should not have to worry about much while dealing with a passing and she made this part of my grandfathers death easy to deal with. Her spirits brought us up while picking an urn, helping with death certificates, obituary & service plans. Those things are all difficult while also processing death and grieving. She was made for her job! Thank you Riley for all your hard work and just being an overall great person to be around!!!
You're never prepared for this!!! Dyers has always done a great job with my family. The staff is so patient, kind, soft hearted, understanding, and business oriented. They definitely know how to make a very difficult experience not so difficult at all. You are the Team that makes the Dream work. Thank you Dyers Memorial Chapel for a one of a kind experience!
From start to finish, I had the absolute best experience. This is the second time I have used Butler-Stumpff & Dyer. The information was exact, upfront, and affordable. I was guided every step of the way and given the information that was needed. The options were many. My grief and my heart was heavy and they understood. Everyone felt like the closest family members I could ever have asked for. My mom Theresa would have been proud of how she was treated in her final moments. I appreciate every person there greatly. There aren't enough accolades that I can give to accurately describe the most wonderful experience my brother and I had. I send my biggest THANK YOU and YOU ARE APPRECIATED to all staff, especially Alysha. Much love, Jeannetta Williams.
My family and I are pleased with the service we received at Butler-Stumpff at Dyer. I had never planned services for anyone before and unfortunately my son passed unexpectedly. The staff was courteous, professional, patient and caring. I can’t say enough great things about Lada but she went above and beyond for me and I can’t thank her enough. I live out of state and she made this a smooth process for me. She was always available to answer my questions and she made me feel like my loved one matter. To all the staff, thank you for making this difficult time a little easier for us.
From start to the finish everyone was so very helpful! I've never had to do a funeral before and didn't know anything about how to get it done. From my first phone call to your funeral home I was greeted with such kindness and patience. It's so very important who you let answer the phone for your company. I had called another funeral home first that had buried my Aunt this year but the gentleman seemed so unhelpful when I asked about his website and finding the information I needed. When I called Butler-Stumpff & Dyer I was greeted by Keith who was so sweet, patient and kind each and every time I called with a question which was many! That is what made me come to this funeral home. You all were so wonderful and helpful in every way and all of my family kept telling me how well I had done. I told them it wasn't me that God took over and it was the funeral home who helped me in everyway. My brother's funeral was so beautifully done and you all took so much time and patience in helping me with everything. I couldn't have asked for more because you all met every need. Even the family car driver prayed with me and my family before driving us to the funeral home. The escorts were awesome! I was so impressed by them and then when I saw the slideshow I thought it was so beautifully done! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You all are awesome!
HORRIBLE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! My mother passed away in Tulsa & needed to be embalmed before being shipped back home. They did not tie her hands together before embalming her, they did not remove any of the hospital bands, EKG stickers or tape. Jennifer Beaty told us that we didn’t need to give them any clothes and that they would put a gown on her she did not mention that the gown she meant was the hospital gown she was in when she passed away. They also did not tie her down correctly when they shipped her so she was moving all around in the box. When my mother arrived back home she looked nothing like herself I didn’t even recognize her. Jennifer’s communication or lack thereof is HORRIBLE. I was supposed to be the one who she communicated with and she never reached out to me. She stated my mother would be shipped back home on a certain date and she was not and she did not communicate that with me I had to find out from a family member. They did not allow my stepdad to see my mother although when we met with Jennifer she said we could see her in a couple days if we wanted to. My stepdad called several times for days and they gave him the run around each time he called. We just had a HORRIBLE experience with Butler-Stumpff & Dyer. Only positive is that they were able to pick my mother up from the hospital within 2 hours of us contacting them.
Alysha was great to work with and very attentive! Riley, Keith and all the staff was so helpful and you could see how they paid attention to all the details for us and made the celebration of my grandmothers life so beautiful, I am grateful to all of them! Thank you for helping me and family get through this process
