We just left from our trip. It was our first time but definitely not the last. The grounds were well kept, sites were easy to get in/out, bathhouse and pool area were nice and clean. What made this campground so wonderful was the staff. I didn't get their names but both ladies were very friendly. We usually stay on the island but I quick bike ride over the bridge and we were right at the beach.
After spending most of the last 2.5 years touring the country, especially the east coast, we were blown away by Buttonwood. The service was amazing, the flowers and maintenance had everything looking stunning. We were also shocked by the amount of employees taking care of everything and everyone was so friendly. Being empty nesters, we don't usually need the extra amenities, but our family joined us and the activities are endless and so much fun. We especially enjoyed the glow disco party. Our site, while not huge for our 44' fifth wheel was level and big enough for what we needed with plenty of overflow parking for the truck.
I hosted an RV Rally with 23 rigs. Edie Allen could not have been more helpful. She was amazing with setting up for us and accommodating. The park was spotlessly clean, easy large sites to get in and out of. We will be back again. I give this park 5 stars.
Had to leave due to imminent hurricane. Left at 11:30 Evacuation order given that same day. Office evacuated at 2 PM. Resort refused to give refund or rain check. Once you give them money you won't get any back. Don't expect them to do the right thing. Wi fi not strong. Streaming won't work. Hookups are at rear of sites. Most sewer hookups are too high of the ground to allow for drainage unless your rv sits high. What is good about this place is proximity to the beach. Nearby activities: Great beach
I camped at the Buttonwood Inlet RV resort in my tiny camper in August 2022, it was off-season and there were plenty of spots. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful checked me in very quickly and it was very affordable. The bathroom/shower house is very clean and very well-maintained! The pool is a very pretty little pool and also very well-maintained. What attracted me most of this RV resort was how close it was to Anna Maria Island and Bradington Beach where I spent my time.I will definitely stay with them again.
This place could be a gem - the back area is awesome, but only the regulars that sched a year ahead get that. The front section for everyone else is awful. All the spaces are very tight and no one enforces parking off the road. The day we arrived vehicles were parked on the roadway obstructing the path to bring our 5th wheel through. We couldn't get the 2 sticking out the most to answer their doors but luckily after 20 mins neighbors came out and offered to move. One of the 2 that didn't answer was a permanent trailer for someone who works there. Most surprising of all, no one works weekends or holidays. So on 3 days memorial weekend there was no help to get a site where we could fit or to get vehicles moved out of our way. Also there is nowhere to walk pets in the front area - rock between sites and there are 'no pets' warning signs all over.
Spent the month of March, 2023, at Buttonwood and loved it! The staff was wonderful, the facilities were clean and well maintained, and the people we met were all really friendly, helpful, and fun! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Noteworthy details: While we were there there was 2 parties hosted by Buttonwood and another hosted by two Buttonwood residents. Also, there is a great bar with live music within a short walk.
Park is composed of two sections: one close to the main street and one in the back separated by a wster channel. The first section is to be avoided by all means due to the street cars' noise and crammed area . The second section is larger , better organized, and quitter. Entire camping is paved and properly maintained. The price 120-150 is not justified as you need to drive to the close beach or to the town, even the location is somehow close to the beach. Traffic jams are terrible on weekends when locals enjoy the beaches. Not recommended.
Great place to RV, amenities kept clean and easily accessible. Spectrum cable service, only thing thing lacking. Walkability: Close to some great food and the marina Food & drinks: Close to some great food.
A walk to the beach, restaurants, tours, shopping you name it, it's all right here. Buttonwood itself is absolutely delightful. Spacious RV sites, dog friendly, very clean, not over crowded. Our site had a dock that took you right to a nice outdoor pool and laundry facility. Super friendly Management and staff, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended 5 stars triple A+ and all that good stuff!!!
