I recently moved in. The leasing office has always been very responsive in answering my questions, on email or in person. It has helped me a lot in preparing for my move in and in settling down. Would like to call out Katie Reynolds from the leasing office for her excellent support throughout. The property is new and good for the price you pay. Locating your unit inside the building does get a bit difficult at times, esp. for those new to the building. Corridors are long and sometimes feel like a maze. Over time, you may get used to them. For families with school going kids, one negative is the elementary school in this district does not have a good rating.
Yes! The whole team was amazing. Specifically I remember Lauren. When I came for my move in appointment however, it felt sort of rushed. I left not knowing how to get into the gates. It was a bit stressful, but a resident came to my aid! I also have no idea how to setup the chirp access. I helped another gentleman today who stopped me to ask how to get into the gates as well. I also think it would be cool to get a tour of the amenities when you move in, or at least offer for the people who haven’t toured. That’s all, everything else so wonderful and when I called everyone was so helpful.
I lived in Camden Lincoln Station for about 2 1/2 yrs & it was not the best experience. Camden raised the price of rent by a couple $100 every renewal, which was ridiculous. Cause my floor plan was going for way cheaper on their website for a new renter, than what they were offering me. Then because Camden's location & the physical location of my actual apartment, there were major issues. This last winter there were a couple of break-in's from the homeless cause the Metro Rail is right next to it and there was an issue with vandalism. I usually would find out first from the other tenants posting on the community board, then Camden would send out an email. Thankfully I didn't have any run-ins or issues w/ the homeless personally, but it was still a huge concern every time I left my apartment. The vandalism incident, someone went through the whole complex and slashed through the art work. The Metro Rail Parking Garage is extremely noisy. Either from people using it for the Coffee Shop now bar or someone revving their engine up & down the levels of the garage in the middle of the night. Cops were called numerous times & it seemed to happen more infrequently, but still noisy. Unfortunately there was a shooting in the garage back in Nov. It was horrible being woken up in the middle of the night to gun shots & not being able to leave or having any answers as to what was going on throughout the night. The tenants I met on my floor were nice & friendly, however my upstairs neighbor was horrible. I called numerous times in the beginning & some things got better, however the leasing office started to tell me that there's nothing they can do if the noise happens during the day. This wasn't normal noise like walking heavy footed around or occasionally dropping something on the floor. It was something being slammed or dropping so hard that it would shake my front door & kitchen, multiple times a week. Anyways, if this complex fits your needs, good luck. Otherwise, I would stay away cause of the increase of issues that ramped up towards the end of me living there.
Do not rent here! My husband and I have lived her close to 5 years and have seen it go down hill. There are constantly homeless people in the building, packages being stolen, broken doors, broken gates, car thefts and break ins. Oh but they did install a camera in the trash area . "Heated" pool and "hot" tub have been down for ages, we don't even get free coffee in the lounges anymore. Front office doesn't care about any of this. Save your money. This place is definitely not Luxury Living. Edit: I have given these apartments the motto "official home of the Wake & Bake" Trust me when I say No Smoking seems to only be a suggestion
I recently moved out of this place after 4 years and 3 units…… I could write a million awful things but the most awful thing is the stealing! I know it’s impossible to completely control but it is out of hand. I recently moved out of the country and I shipped things with FedEx. I had to make the return address as my previous address here because unfortunately I had nowhere else…. Luckily a good neighbor noticed two of my boxes were returned and sitting outside of my old unit so he grabbed them. However another neighbor received two more boxes AND LEFT THEM OUTSIDE HER APARTMENT. I was told she posted on the community wall about them. I would think the leasing office would immediately reach out to collect them but why in the world would they do that. So of course they were stolen from outside her door. The contents of these boxes were very important to me and not superficial belongings.no I really had no other way to get the belongings where I needed them to go. I had no other option but to ship them and of course the theft is so likely to happen at this complex I should have seen this coming. Basically what I’m trying to say is the management in this community doesn’t do enough when it comes to the topic of theft. Someone literally posts saying someone’s packages were delivered to the wrong address and the management should recognize the situation. Especially since it’s a small community and I lived there for FOUR YEARS!! If you choose to make this Camden your home I truly hope the odds are in your favor if you ever have to have something delivered to you. And this situation makes it seem even more likely that the thieves live there because the boxes were fairly large and heavy. So I hope you enjoy my work bags, work shoes, and snorkeling gear. Otherwise if you’re not into that enjoy looking at the only copies of my childhood photos and memorabilia that I’ll never get to show my future children.
This is my third year living at these apartments, and it’s only gone downhill from the first year. The office employees used to be so awesome; they were always nice and followed up quickly. Now it takes forever to get a hold of someone or hear back, and the few employees I’ve spoken to have been rude. The complex charges so many fees, but things are constantly broken and in disarray. The floor I live on still has a messed up sign with missing numbers and someone had to use a pen to mark the arrows and apartment numbers. It has been that way for MONTHS, even though it should be a quick and fairly inexpensive fix. This past lease renewal they started charging an amenities utilities fee, on top of the amenity fee they already charge which amounts to over $50 a month. If that’s not enough they make you do a technology package that you can’t opt out of or even just opt for internet that costs over $100 a month. My rent is lower compared to other similar apartments in the area, but it ends up being more costly due to all the fees they add on. I used to really love staying here, but am seriously considering moving to a different complex if things do not change. I will say the maintenance team has been consistently great even with staff changes. They respond quickly and have always been nice.
the leasing office has been great. Very responsive. Kate is great. Maintenance has been very responsive. They do have a bug problem. I moved in about 2 months ago. I have not been able to sleep in the bedroom at all due to the problem. Still waiting for the pest control company to come out. It is too bad that you pay your monthly rent but are not able to use your bedroom at all. Keep getting bit when I try to use it. Make sure that you before you sign your lease that you have a pest inspection. I have flea bombed my apartment twice, still there is a bug issue,
Been here 2 years, the building and apartments are nice and taken care of. The maintenance team is awesome too. The downside, which is BIG, is that there are no cameras anywhere, not in the parking ramp and not in the hallways. This has resulted in countless cars being broken into and packages being stolen. In the 2 years that my wife and I have been here, we have had several packages stolen and stuff stolen out of or cars. First apartment I've lived in with no cameras, but this is the nicest apartment I've lived in... makes no sense. They charge a general maintenance fee, but obviously it not being used to keep residents safe. Their solution is to send packages to UPS and to pick them up there, which is ridiculous considering the rent we pay to live here.
We had a wonderful wonderful tour with Katie and absolutely loved the community! Katie was super nice and informative and I absolutely love the finishes in the apartments. The real selling point for me was the gym, it’s about twice as big as my current complex and they have all the machines you can think of. Thank you for your help, Katie!
