I am sure 99% of the visitors to Gettysburg Military Park don't even know that Camp Colt even existed. Formed in 1918 and closed in 1919. Camp Colt was a tank training area for the U.S. Army for the First World War. Though they never had any of the Renault Tanks here, they did though train with flat bed Trucks and Machine Guns. Dwight D. Eisenhower was the commander at the time. A very interesting piece of Gettysburg History. Check it out, you will be glad you did.
